Does God protect Christians from dying of COVID-19?

Video or no video, it's misleading advice to tell anyone that God WILL, absolutely WILL, protect from the virus.

Prayer is not a contract between God and Man, although many people seem to think that's how it works.

The knowledge of knowing we will just continue your lives in Heaven after our deaths gives us a true hope that erases our fear of death.

God causes it to rain on sinners and saints alike. Some Christians will die and be welcome home in Heaven. Other Christians will heal, some even, miraculously.

Just remember, we will all stay alive until our calling on earth is finished.

The FDA does not approve of God as a home remedy.

Christians have already died of COVID-19. I have no reason to believe they were all unfaithful.

Ask whoever it is that says those things if they personally will be responsible for whatever family's needs from this point on who lose members because they believed them.

He doesn't protect them from dying of any other cause, so no.

When this virus came the LORD specifically give me Psalm 91. Which speaks of his protection in times of disease. I am a person who has seen the sick healed through prayer. 100% I believe God will keep me well. If we throw ourselves on Him during this time, I fully believe we will be safe.

Psa 91:1-16 Live under the protection of God Most High and stay in the shadow of God All-Powerful. Then you will say to the LORD, "You are my fortress, my place of safety; you are my God, and I trust you." The Lord will keep you safe from secret traps and deadly diseases. He will spread his wings over you and keep you secure. His faithfulness is like a shield or a city wall. You won't need to worry about dangers at night or arrows during the day. And you won't fear diseases that strike in the dark or sudden disaster at noon. You will not be harmed, though thousands fall all around you. And with your own eyes you will see the punishment of the wicked. The LORD Most High is your fortress. Run to him for safety, and no terrible disasters will strike you or your home. God will command his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will carry you in their arms, and you won't hurt your feet on the stones. You will overpower the strongest lions and the most deadly snakes. The Lord says, "If you love me and truly know who I am, I will rescue you and keep you safe. When you are in trouble, call out to me. I will answer and be there to protect and honor you. You will live a long life and see my saving power."

Christians don't die...they go home to be with Jesus.

Stop paying attention to those who say this sort of thing.
If it is your pastor ask him about the ebola virus how did prayer stop the hundreds of Christians who died from it from dying?

God protects all people, animals and creation as much as possible. If some evil happens, God allows it because its needed for some higher good.

So if a Christian catch the virus and even dies, it was necessary to happen. We have a good Lord who is giving as much good to creation as possible.

I believe you correct, I do not believe they were all unfaithful...be careful everyone who you listen to or turn to for spiritual counsel during this time.

As the wise person put it yesterday, God has yet to make any declaration…until God is ready to declare His Purpose - not man’s twisted ideas.

The spiritually immature and foolish sound off loudly but know little, while the spiritually mature and wise listen, wait, and speak in God’s timing – the timing of the message can be as important as the message.

Christian die each day. As Christians, yet humans, unless the rapture takes place before our set time we will all die and we will die from something. (Our "set time" is determined by God, not man, not a virus - though we do not mock God and death through foolish behavior and lack of care for our health).

Therefore, if we all have to die from something, how can we be healed of everything?

God heals at times and God chooses at times not to heal - that is God's determination not man's and not man's attempts to manipulate God with prayer. We are to pray for many things including the sick and for physical personal protection, divine health, but God has never been and will never be manipulated.

First of all, God is in complete charge of this virus. This virus as many others are a call from God for sinners to repent and to turn our hearts towards him. Now. Yes it is God' judgement also, but not his final judgement which will be much worse. This is just a little taste.

Now just because we ar Christians, I mean true Christians born again in the spirit does not mean we cannot catch this virus or die from it. Why? To test us. Not that God needs to test us because He fully knows us. No, it is to show ourself who we are indeed. If in tough times we do not praise God are we truly Christians? If we can take good we can take the bad from Him also. Thus this is also a mercy from God to Christians to show us who we are..perhaps to show us if we are his followers indeed. And if you fail that's good...because you still have a chance to repent.

Remember Jesus is always your rock. And He is the only rock in your life that's solid.

Do not fear the disease because if you truly are in Christ not even death will separate you, because nothing can. And if you havr doubts right now that's good.. because you know where you truly are in a relationship with Himm so you know what you are lacking in faith and pray to Him to be merciful and show you the way He wants you to be.

I therefore pray that that He does what He wants...and if He considers it that it is best for me to suffer from this virus, so be it. And if I die then I'm ready to meet my Creator.

Do not fear diseases, wars and all that is going in World right now, for that is what Jesus said has to happen before His second return. And this only means we are getting closer

Reliance to God (even it's for many important, also I find prosperity gospel completely disgusting) but no precautions can't prevent you catching covid 19. Also the virus is very fair, to be honest and it won't spare people because of their religious views/social class/prestige.

thus says the Lord, Silence Yourself, I have made no declaration through you.

Yes God can protect Christians and anyone else he chooses from the virus. Many of us do not seek Him in crisis like these and even when we do some lack enough faith to believe. When the disciples couldn't heal the boy suffering from Epilepsy Jesus did it easily, when they asked him why they were unable to, he accused them of having little faith. He later recommended fasting and prayers. We can't sit and fold hands when epidemics like these occur then expect to be healed, for most of us that won't be enough but if we exercise our faith through prayer and fasting, He will teach us what to do so we can be safe and virus free.

Something is going to kill all of us in the end, whether it's Covid-19, cancer, or being a passenger on a plane which posthumously makes it into "Air Crash Investigations".

Christ raised Lazarus from the dead, after deliberately hanging around for four days to make sure he was gone first, in order to demonstrate His power.

But it would seem the Pharisees arranged for Lazarus to die a second time, and they'd have made sure he stayed good and dead this time. So even though he was raised from the dead, he only stayed alive for a relatively short time anyway.

Secondly while we need to take measures to protect ourselves and others from the virus, the average death toll around the world on any given day is around 150,000 people. This is more than offset by the 360,000 new-borns each day. That means every 5 days there are another 1 million people to be fed, housed, clothed, transported, educated and cared for, Coronavirus or not.
