I was raised on pork and it is only in recent years I stopped eating it.The doctor told my mom to stop eating it for her blood pressure was high.I stopped eating it when my blood pressure went up. I reasoned that God had a reason for forbidding the eating of it. So, I don't intentionally eat it. And while it is permissible for us to eat it, it may not be beneficial health wise.

God did not create the dietary laws due to health concerns. These laws were about purity boundaries and identity. These are intangible concepts.

Yes, there was a reason why God identified the pig as unclean. He did not say why certain meats were unclean. He just said do not eat it. Lord Jesus clarified it by saying receive it by thanksgiving. Everything God created was good. But, by the time of the flood, there were clean and unclean animals. That is what makes me think the unclean animals are hybrids.

The concepts of clean and unclean deal with boundaries. This has nothing to do with whether or not the meat was safe or healthy to eat (if that is what you are insinuating, forgive me if you are not!). For example, rabbit meat is safe, lean, and high in protein. However, rabbit is not considered kosher.

Since when?
Jesus talked to, and healed, Gentiles and told his disciples to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Jeremiah 31:31-33 the new covenant is between God & Israel, not God and Gentiles.

Jesus' blood seals the New Covenant, and he died for everyone.
Or are you saying that only Jews can come to know him and be saved?
