When I say actually help, I mean materially improve the situation. I don’t mean ANY form of making me feel better about it. His grace, love, presence, patience, etc.=not actually helping. How do I get him to act rather than give me completely empty words?
Ask for gifts of wisdom and knowledge, yourself or from others. When asking faith and patience are fruit of the Spirit that help you. And Jesus' blood when it covers you, will make your heart clean and drive off fears.

When I was in need for God to help me, dire need, I was given the word, that you need to not just pray, but cry out to God, as in Psalms. I thought about it, and cried out in a private room, and was delivered from very bad company soon after.

Look for and listen to testimonies, which can become your prophecies.

A). Did you read the original post? I specifically mentioned all the ways He either tries to strengthen you or make you feel better about the situation as useless empty words. I don’t want spiritual stuff. It does NOTHING AT ALL. Actually acting to improve the situation is what I am talking about. As long as the situation doesn’t change NONE of the spiritual things mean anything to me.
B) You don’t think I have cried out? I have cried out daily. ZERO EFFECT except for Him giving me meaningless words of comfort and love. I don’t want to be comforted and I don’t believe his love while the problems continue.
C) I don’t care what he had done for others. In fact hearing that he helped others out and not me makes it worse. I also take no help from others going through pain stories (ex Book of Job)

One Ps said he was working on a technical job, he had maybe 3 hours to finish, but it could take three days, he asked God, was given a word of knowledge and quickly finished the job.

A word of wisdom and a word of knowledge, honour to God, cry out thus well aimed and that may give success.

A). Did you read the original post? I specifically mentioned all the ways He either tries to strengthen you or make you feel better about the situation as useless empty words. I don’t want spiritual stuff. It does NOTHING AT ALL.

Your post asked how to get God to actually help - you can't.
Prayer, reading the Bible, meditating on certain verses and deciding to trust in his love may help YOU; yet you aren't interested in "spiritual stuff", call God's love and grace "useless, empty words" and say that it does absolutely nothing for you.

You can't force God to change your physical situation and you are rejecting the peace, hope and strength he can give in the storm.
You may have to find another way.

B) You don’t think I have cried out? I have cried out daily. ZERO EFFECT except for Him giving me meaningless words of comfort and love.

So you are judging his love by your outward circumstances and don't want the answers to prayer that he has given you.

C) I don’t care what he had done for others. In fact hearing that he helped others out and not me makes it worse. I also take no help from others going through pain stories (ex Book of Job)

You also reject the comfort and encouragement that others who have been in your situation, or far worse, can give.

How do you expect any of us to advise you?
We can't change your troubles, no one can make God change them - and you refuse any comfort or words of grace, strength or love from God. You are telling him, basically, "this is how I expect you to answer my prayer and I'm not accepting anything other than what I have asked for, in my way."
Good luck.

Without a vision my people perish. Seek first the kingdom and God's saving justice and the other things will be added to you. Jesus' sacred blood is God's atomic weapon. You can apply the blood, or ask it to fall on a friend or foe. There is group prayer, the prayer of agreement, with a reputedly good intercessor. You can ask for your angels to take action. But words of knowledge help you not pray erring or empty words.

QB, in physics, which might be construed as not being "spiritual stuff", and doesn't go out of its way to "make us feel good", there is a timing problem as God is in more dimensions than us.

The rest of us are going to be in your boat in days or weeks which is why I value your thread.

I don’t want the comforting, strengthening spiritual stuff anymore. I want him to ACT. And yes, I reject the answers he has given me, because it is either the comforting stuff (my grace is sufficient..., every works for the good..., etc) or the more tangible, “No.” in most cases the “No” has been followed with “and here are additional problems for asking.” (Circumstances worsening rather than getting better in ANY way). so yes I don’t want that stuff because it doesn’t help in the slightest.

@Strong in Him: Rather, instead, we need to be in the state of heart to say: 'Thy will be done'.

As you say, there is no question of 'getting God to do something'. God is God.

Why is God not willing to follow His own words?

James 2:16 “And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? “

when he gives me comfort, love, grace etc, that is what he is doing. Saying be comforted without actually helping.

Well in that case, I have no idea how I, nor anyone come to that, can help.
No one can make God act.

What is it you need done?

the biggest thing is I need my wife healed from the multiple strokes she has had over the last two years. I am watching her decline a little just about every time I see her (she is currently in a nursing facility). I truly mean “take up thy bed and walk” level healing. Watching that decline, I don’t care what he says to me or his comfort or his anything. It doesn’t mean anything when coupled with his inaction. I don’t want him to just care, I want him to act.

Edit: one additional detail. My wife is 50 years old .

I think many missed the point of the question.

I am well past the point of wanting anything like comfort, peace, strength, patience, grace, favor etc without actual change. I want to know how do you get God to ACT rather than just stand back and tell you He cares? His caring words have begun to ring extremely hollow in the face of His inaction. As long as the painful circumstance continues, His comfort (insert whatever spiritual idea you please) doesn’t mean anything to me. In short, with His claims at love and caring about me, I want him to put His money where His mouth is. I want action, not words.

How do you suppose that any created, finite, fallible human can get the infinite Creator and Lord of the universe to do anything?
We can pray - we can all certainly do that; but no one can make God answer the way that we want him to, or think that he should.
