Senate fails to pass Coronavirus stimulus bill

Mitch McConnell deliberately brought this bill to the floor knowing it would never pass, because of the 500 billion dollar slush fund to Trump and Mnuchin with virtually no oversight—so, you know, Trump can pay off his buddies and buy support for the election. Then when it was inevitably voted down, they could blame the democrats, which was the plan all along.

I wish there was some way of forcing capitol hill to not attach unrelated items to a bill going thru congress.

My idea is that they should be forced to real aloud every word of the whole bill from the floor before a vote. They can make the bill as long as they want as long as it is read aloud in regular session. Then record who was present or absent for the reading (for later blame purposes) and have them vote. Bills would be MUCH shorter.

Pelosi is a disgrace. Playing petty party politics whilst the US falls apart.

Now to the scary part. If you think Sanders was bad....I believe all that has to happen for Pelosi to be president is for the US election to be delayed by corona virus, and she is first in line if there is a void. Trump and VP cannot stay in office.
She has a vested interest in dragging the effects of CV out.
