DOS is still on bare bones for services: priest, deacon, 1 acolyte, 1 reader, 1 choir director, 2 singers.
Same here, though our reader also sings (we don’t have an official ordained reader anymore). We have priest, 2 subdeacons, choir director, reader / singer and two other singers. We are having a virtual fellowship hour, church community group chats and groups, and other things as much as possible.

Our priest notified us today that we’re cancelling services for another two weeks - we are hoping and praying to be back together for Holy Week and Pascha.
Are you East Coast OCA (if you are ok saying it)? Sorry, I think you said before, but can’t remember. :)

Definitely praying for Holy Week and Pascha. I miss our parish in person! Bare bones services seem very strange, when we normally are full of people, though I’m glad we are at least able to do that.

The restrictions are most painful, my parish is basically behind closed doors with 1 priest , 1 chanter, and 1 altar boy, that is it, and the Sacraments can only be ministered right now in the case of emergencies.

At first I was angry at the Bishops, feeling why if they still had Pascha under tough situations like civil wars, famines, Communism, Nazism, why cancel for this Virus? Yet I have to concentrate on my own sins, and have faith in our Bishops, they must know from civil authorities, that this is bad.

one good thing out of this mess, is it's showing how creative folks can be to keep the Church as active as possible.

I understand how you feel. I still struggle with it.

I realized recently that our Lenten prayer of St Ephraim can help me with this time and my frustrations.

O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despair, lust of power, and idle talk.

But give rather the spirit of chastity, humility, patience, and love to Thy servant.

Yea, O Lord and King, grant me to see my own transgressions, and not to judge my brother, for blessed art Thou, unto ages of ages. Amen.

East coast, yes, but not OCA. We're under the Bulgarian patriarchate's Metropolitan Joseph (not to be confused with the Antiochian Metropolitan of the same name). And no worries - with college, graduating, moving, etc., I've been to quite a few parishes over the past two years. It's hard enough for me to remember too, haha

Just saw this and wanted to share here (and on the other COVID-related thread in TAW), in case anyone hasn't seen it yet. I haven't really looked into their resources yet, but I'll definitely poke around a bit this afternoon/evening.

Are we the only jurisdiction that isn't even allowed to have Liturgy behind closed doors / priest and psalt only? Just curious.
Not sure. Some groups in the OCA are not permitted due to governmental restrictions. Some are designated as the ones who are doing the live stream for liturgies.

I don't know either. I have a friend who is in the OCA and his diocese (I'm not sure which one), his bishop suspended all services, even with just the priest and chanter, I believe

My OCA parish is continuing with the skeleton crew but my in-laws’ OCA parish was directed to stop completely after it started getting worse in the county.

OCA Diocese of the South is still doing services with a skeleton crew. We’re still waiting on an update, since the first directive was through March 29th. I’m sure it won’t get any looser. The virus is spreading rapidly here.

We went up to church Monday and the whole family went to Confession then took Communion. Father, deacon, and one chanter celebrate the Divine Liturgy Sunday and reserve the Eucharist for Monday and Wednesday all morning long....
