• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I sometimes see colors blotches of colors but there not really there but I see them...sometimes I really do think I’m sick with my mental illnesses.. thankfully there’s the great physician “they that are whole need not a physician but they that are sick” the Lord Jesus Christ

You might not need to worry *, because it might be the same as all human beings' bodies get, namely miscellaneous impressions and sensations all the time.

I always thought the random prickles, clouds, and sensations I don't have names for, which come & go almost all the time, were just part of breathing and getting around. But they used to distract me.

I expect I have sensitive nerves in my skin, eyes, ears, etc and I am feeling blood circulating and seeing light prisms in the air or the circulation in my eyes.

* Keep in touch with the optician, because of red patches (mine usually go away quickly).

Beyond that now I'm in my 60s (and not having had a psychosis diagnosis) I enjoy what I see better, there is hardly any weather any more.

The paradox is, that the more I meditate acceptingly on myself as a natural phenomenon, the less distracting these sorts of things are.

I admit to being curious and finding out about all sciences all the time.

I don't know whether this rings any bells? While I don't have explicit experience of conditions mentioned in this subforum, we are all human beings and we overlap.
