That works too. At least you don’t have to get dolled up for the camera. Lol
I've done it in my pajamas. We just talk for a while, see if I need anything. It's way easier than driving across town.

We are pretty much locked down during this time except for essential travel. What have you been doing to fill your time? Are you becoming restless yet?

I went to adoration today. I used to have a Monday night hour, but Coronavirus changed the schedule around so we don't do it 24 hours any more but only 7 AM to 7 PM. It's in the church and they only allow ten people at a time all spread out. I've been doing this for more than 25 years and considering last week I couldn't go, it was great.

When I left I noticed a six car line in the parking lot for the drive through confession with Fr. Powers sitting in the lot listening to another confession. The line was too long for me.Otherwise I would have taken the opportunity. Drive through confession is a thing.

We are doing Telemedicine at our hospitals. Both sides need a device with a camera. Client side logs on to MyChart electronic health record software and the physician initiates the session.
My parish Watchmen's small group did a meeting using Webex Saturday morning. It sort of worked. We are discussing Benedict XVI's Jesus of Nazareth.

Webex works ok.
I use it for my work and if the bandwidth is adequate then it's fine for that. One of our guys was out in a rural area and it was spotty for him.

Really? In your pajamas?

I just surf the net and read. We have the stay-at-home order too. I miss hugging and playing with my toddler grandbabies and talking to the two older ones!

But, I keep thinking of that saying that's started to become popular - "our grandparents/parents had to go off to war, we just have to stay and sit on the couch."

2nd week of confinement for me. I am with my cousins, we are gardening, reading, singing, taking care of their numerous animals & always finding unlikely things to do. We're having a lot of fun as none of us decided give up both hope & joy. We're doing our very best to get along well with others, and this is more than successful : this is why I love my cousins, they are always so joyful & funny in any time, even the worst. We pray together a lot too, nothing helps more to stay hopeful. I also work a lot on my master thesis, it takes most of my time. So I guess everything is perfectly okay for me! Perfect time also to get in touch with people, I spend hours calling everyone around me or texting long-lost friends.
