I cannot go to the gym so I have to do home exercises, my classes are online and I have not seem my friends.
Given my personal circumstances the world has actually changed to become more like my situation.

Being dependant on my motor functions which no longer work as a tradesperson, I have to rely on my previous built up wealth to survive.

My son put his house on lockdown, so I can't see my grandkids. I've still been going to the store, but keeping my distance from others. Other than that, my life is pretty much as usual.

I thought you weren’t allowed to go out in the UK

We are allowed out, but social distancing is encouraged.
Some of my voluntary work - hospital chaplaincy - has been stopped. Other work - the Samaritans - continues; in fact I am doing even more shifts to cover for those who are/have to self isolate.

Not much change so far for me personally. I can't attend weekend mass, although we can still go to weekday mass as the numbers are fewer. I play a sport and fixtures have been cancelled till further notice. So far work remains unaffected, but the jury is out on that one. There are some restrictions on what we can buy in supermarkets, mainly due to the panic buying, with the result the stores have put limits on how much customers can buy in some item lines eg. toilet rolls, long life milk.

A lot of other people in Australia have been affected badly though, mainly in the economic sense. There are long queues outside the Centrelink offices (the social service payments office for the Australian Government) as many people have lost their jobs, either temporarily or permanently due to Government enforced closures of places of public assembly, minimum space requirements between customers etc.

The tourism and hospitality industries are doing it very tough, including the airlines.

I suppose you could say that for Australia it's been an economic crisis rather than a health crisis.

It is a ghost town here, gyms are closed in my area and any sort of recreational center. Very few places are open, and these places are only out of necessity like the grocery store. And even at the grocery store we couldn't find things like bread, carrots, vegetables, meats. With that there won't be any cleaning supplies or toilet paper.

I am still in college and last week the whole school decided to extend spring break, and transition to online for the rest of the semester.

Not too bad, just a couple nights had to settle on canned food when I couldn't find anything.

Cant help but to compare this with our hurricane experience we had once.

Today - so glad we have utilities! buildings still standing! cleared streets! communication such as which businesses are open and phone service! etc. Have time to do some pending projects such as touch base with some friends that haven't heard from recently, a Bible study, research the hundreds of ways to save money, substitutes for eggs, +++

Very little has changed for me. I am in Montana and out home is on the smallest plot in the area (20 acres). I work remotely anyway, though I am still going to my rented office (it is a small building and I am the only one in it). So I leave my remote home in my isolated car, drive 25 minutes to an empty isolated building and go to work alone. My only changes is that I am not going to get groceries as often and I am helping an elderly neighbor by getting his mail daily and leaving by his garage door and any outgoing mail he leaves I take and bring to the post box in town.

My life has changed but so far I consider myself very lucky. Work-wise, I can work from home and have been doing so very effectively (more work right now because I work in Technology and we are highly in demand all day to help others). I don't mind the heavier work load (well, I don't mind it THAT much - I'd rather have more work than be laid off or furloughed). Obviously it also affects my personal life in that I can't see others, go to meetings for clubs and organizations I'm in, eat out, or even do normal shopping anymore. But I have food in the house, I can still go to stores for necessities if I should need them, so far I'm healthy and feel good. Not having to commute to midtown Manhattan every day is a huge benefit, actually...

So yeah, I am very, very lucky and grateful to God for blessing me despite the crisis going on. I hope many of you are the same and for those who are experiencing much more hardship you are all in my prayers, I feel devastated for you to go through this through no fault of your own.

Our numbers of infections are still rising exponentially, though. Our health crisis is still coming.

Not a lot of change for me, just making extra efforts to make sure my mum has what she needs. I'll walk if i can rather than use public transport for a bit. No other major changes for me so far.
