Most prophecies are poorly understood.
Yes, I happen to believe that the 'coming on the clouds of heaven' is not a reference to a future 'downward' return of Jesus - but rather refers to the Jesus's upward ascent in vindication after His achievement on the Cross.

According to scripture Jesus already ascended, right?

It is time for people to read their Bibles. Since some are locked down and can't socialize like the use to, they now have the time.

Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

We are currently living through a historic pandemic and it's not what I thought it would be. It's not like in action movies at all. It's more like a kind of surreal horror show that we are all players and spectators in. This isn't funny anymore.

I'm not in a state where I am afraid, but I am in a daze as the world around me crumbles to its bare essentials. Suddenly, the grocery store shelves have been picked over as if there was word that food production has suddenly ceased for an indefinite amount of time. And in my case, my school had to close its doors and move to online instruction while I've also been indefinitely banned from my internship due to what's going on. Mind you, this is my senior year and I was supposed to be graduating in May. Now I'm not so sure that will happen.

You know that things are "getting real" once the libraries in your area start to close early due to staffing shortages, your workplace shuts down its dining room, and you see nothing on the news but information about some virus that was once being treated as a joke. I know we are all trying to make do with the situation by turning to humor, and I can see how that helps sometimes... but for me, this time feels unnerving to a degree.

They just shut down California's bay area and people are banned from doing any unnecessary activities outside of their homes. I'd think this was no big deal, but I got an email from the county with more details on the matter. It feels like my mom's conspiracy theories are coming true to a degree as it relates to the enforcement of martial law. Whether or not that is the case is yet to be determined, but I'm not liking how this is looking at present.

I don't wish to scare anyone with my thoughts at present, but this doesn't look promising right now. How the heck does something like this even happen...? There was a doctor who knew about this virus became a pandemic, and now he's gone. Why didn't anyone listen to him? Why is no one holding those who silenced him accountable for the thousands of cases and deaths that are now on their hands? I'm cycling through anger with this in particular. All of this panic and craziness could have been avoided if only they had listened. This is a bit part of why I'm having some trust issues right now. It's not good.

How are the rest of you feeling about this Coronavirus stuff? Are you scared?
Well I am under the Bay Area shelter in place for 3 weeks. Yesterday I was a bit afraid but today I am relieved that our county is taking precautionary steps to stop the spread. This will pass.
Blessings

"Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?' for it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today."

We are not just living in the last days but the end times. Draw closer to God. If you need some good YouTubers to follow watch Doug Bachelor and Discovering the Jewishness of Jesus. This is only a small taste of what's coming. Jesus said don't be alarmed all these things must come to pass, read Matthew 24 in the Bible. This is not a conspiracy theory like December 21 2012. There is no dates the Lord never left us with dates just signs before Jesus Christ returns. We have never been in a time before where people are always in fear and everyone is ready for World War 3, Climate change, the Pope trying to introduce new humanism in May.

I'm not so afraid of the virus. It's no picnic obviously but its not necessarily a death sentence. I'm more afraid of society. We have so many armed nut jobs with 'told you so' attitudes who have been stockpiling munitions for years. I'm personally good friends with three of them so I know whereof I speak.:)

15 When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that readeth understand), 16 then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains: 17 let him that is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house: 18 and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak.

They did flee to Pella in 66 AD.

Too many "Zombie" movies has everyone panicking and not thinking... buy what you need... not what you need for a year or two..
Love your neighbor by leaving some for them.

Bunch of Woody Harrelson's looking for Twinkies.

I am more worried about the supply chain and crazy panicked people.
Yes, it will upset the supply rhythm. But.. should be lots of TP in the next six months..

I'm irritated at the cowardice. I'm annoyed at the hype. I want to run a renegade church service in the morning on Sunday; to heck with the virus, the government and the people who cower.

The world has been crazy, it is only just beginning that everyone will have to confront the insanity we have put up with and allowed.

Even if this virus is nothing, it still shows how easily controlled we are. People never listen to the warnings given to them because that is our human fault. We scoff at the things that seem outside of our reality, and then cry when we are faced with the inevitable. This is another cycle we go through - because we never learn.

Scared? No.. just not there. Well the way I see it is.. this "virus" spreads really easy. And seems to only last for maybe 14 or so days. So just close things for 2-3 weeks and.. back up and running.

Not sure just 3-4 weeks is enough. Granted in China its been getting less and less. 6362 people in the usa have it. They SAY its now in every state. And they say :( 100 have died. H1N1 "More than 12,000 Americans died of H1N1 (swine flu) in the United States in 2009, and 275,000 Americans were hospitalized."

This virus has not even come close to that. A tad over reacting? I think so. Every person I heard that got it.. felt really weak, hard to breath, high temp... but.. week or so later.. gone.

What if it is just phase 1, and the virus mutates after 60 days of solid incubation (without the host dying)?

We are being told more than what is actually known - which should be alarming in and of itself.
