We all know by now the absolute panic created by the media are the virus. My question is how many do you all think really trust in God during all this? With all the panic I would say a small amount. While we treat the virus seriously we should not panic and be frightened as believers unless we are not and think we are.

The church has long pasted that, I believe protection from God. The church is so like the pagan world, they share many beliefs .
As an example in the New Testament were they were all living and supporting each other, living with in a community but at the same time not practicing or believing as this pagan non believing community they lived in. And when one did act sinful as can be seen Paul states to put this person out and let satan teach him lesson. To me that shows, that within the community of believers, was their protection by God.

So now in the churches, we see them experiencing every problem the world experiences.

The virus isn’t the issue, at all. The issue is the Democrats are lying about it in an attempt to cause an economic meltdown. We should be afraid of that and fight it.

The president must be in on it since he just instituted a 30 day travel ban to and from Europe.

People are preparing. I suppose some are panicking. It is more than a virus. It affects people's jobs and has a financial impact. It is fear of the unknown. If cities are on lockdown, some will be separated from loved ones. It is wise to be vigilant, but worrying does no good. There are not enough ventilators to support people in respiratory distress. I understand the concern. It is a great time to get your affairs in order and bring people to Christ. I am old and have asthma. I wear a mask when I go out to the grocery. I care for a 92 year old mother. I would not want her to suffer.

Can’t say I’m for that. But the man may have something up his sleeve, politically, on that. Time will tell.

The media are right to warn the public about this illness. Here in Germany the Chancellor has stated up to 70 per cent Germans will get it at some point. its kill rate is more than hundred times that of flu. As Christians we should not be afraid but we should be mindful.

So trust God, get your life in order, pray and wash your hands

If 70% of Germans get it. It’s kill rate is not going to be 100 times the flu. Not even close. In fact I’ll go out on a limb and say if 70% of Germans get it. It’s kill rate will be less than the flu.

In these parts where I live a forecast of 4 inches of snow causes most to stock up on two month's worth of bread and milk. I"m sure the sporting goods stores are fresh out of all varieties of ammo too. I'm putting my smart money on goldenseal. It did wonders for my seemingly chronic bronchitis years ago. It's a centuries old homeopathic remedy but does have proven antiviral and antibiotic properties and is used specifically for upper respiratory infections.

Thanks for the recommendation (goldenseal).

Panic and fear are just biological reactions. Some people feel those reactions more than others. It does not mean their faith is less. It simply means their bodies are working as they should. After they feel the panic and fear, they have to get control of it. God can help with that.

Possibly true, but right now you do not know that for sure. So advice to take precautions and governments policies to contain or delay the spread of the virus , to buy more time for vacinnes and preventative initiatives make a lot of sense

I have absolutely no concerns about the virus. The economic situation is troubling, however. And, I wish I hadn't decided to wait on toilet paper until the next shopping trip.

The panic (esp among politicians) is ridiculous. I saw one lady yesterday using surgical gloves to touch the cc pinpad in a store. I thought what a good idea during cold and flu season. I'd rather not have a cold or so, but if He wants me nothing I can do will stop Him and if He doesn't ...... well?.....

Be afraid? No.
Jesus warned this would happen,
Jesus warned His disciples that persecution and beatings and arrests and martyrdom was going to happen,
JEsus told His disciples (and us) how great the deception would be (over the whole world),
then told them /us/ , I tell you this so the JOY YOU HAVE IN ME , will remain. Do not be afraid - they can (and did) destroy your body, but they cannot touch your soul.
Fear then HE WHO can destroy both your soul and body. (do not fear man, nor any circumstance)

Why pick on Democrats or any other party ? Did you find one telling the truth, opposed to the others ?

They are not right for the panic they have caused. What I find interesting in the USA is that the media was considered give out fake news now all of a sudden they are the best thing since sliced bread. As Rush said today the country is losing it's head. The swine flu was more deadly here but because Obmmer was in the media was hush about it but now that President Trump is helping America, something the media and Dems hate, they want to create a panic, which they have, to take him and our freedoms out.

European governments are talking in terms of 70-80% population eventually being infected. At the moment there is no cure. The best chance is to slow the pace of growth to one the medics can cater for. If all the cases come at once a far greater % of people will die. Republicans really need to get with new game plan. This will probably tank the economy and so steadfastness and wisdom in a crisis are going to be the cards to play for the election.
