So was Hillary at this time four years ago - you know, the best qualified person to ever run for President who spent 1 billion dollars on her election.
Biden is far better a candidate than Hillary and Trump has to face CV19 and the stock market and Bloomberg's billion dollar meme war.

Agreed, but Biden has to face a strong economy, record low unemployment, the middle class doing better than the previous admin (that he was part of), and a political opponent that still draws crowds exponentially larger than he does.

Biden said dumb things during the Obama years. But it seems to have gotten worse. Trump says dumb things too. Biden now though doesn't just say dumb things but he can't seem to complete thoughts and forgets what he's saying. That is more concerning to me at this point. I guess as time goes on and he has to talk more and more well have a better idea where he is mentally.

Gaffs are one thing. And deserve to be pointed out and laughed at no matter who says them. But a few things Biden has done lately have me a bit more concerned than just a simple gaffe.

Have you actually listened live to many Trump speeches rather than read reporters versions?

Guardian said:
In writing about this not-especially-important or unusual press conference I’ve run into what US reporters must encounter every day. I’ve edited skittering, half-finished sentences to present them in some kind of consequential order and repeated remarks that made little sense.

In most circumstances, presenting information in as intelligible a form as possible is what we are trained for. But the shock I felt hearing half an hour of unfiltered meanderings from the president of the United States made me wonder whether the editing does our readers a disservice.

I’ve read so many stories about his bluster and boasting and ill-founded attacks, I’ve listened to speeches and hours of analysis, and yet I was still taken back by just how disjointed and meandering the unedited president could sound. Here he was trying to land the message that he had delivered at least something towards one of his biggest campaign promises and sounding like a construction manager with some long-winded and badly improvised sales lines.

I’d understood the dilemma of normalising Trump’s ideas and policies – the racism, misogyny and demonisation of the free press. But watching just one press conference from Otay Mesa helped me understand how the process of reporting about this president can mask and normalise his full and alarming incoherence.

Yes I've heard Trump's speeches. Sometimes he's good, sometimes he's not so good. He's certainly not eloquent or smooth. He never has been. He will not go down in history as one of the great oratorians of our time.

However Biden seems to have another aspect that is concerning. It's not that he just sounds like a construction manager as stated by the article you posted, Biden forgets, and cannot complete his thoughts. Trump comes across as not eloquent when off script. Biden comes comes across as forgetful, confused, inability to find words etc.

Trump sounds like he's in the mid stages of dementia in many of his speeches. This is a guy who announced that his father was German and was born in a 'wonderful place in Germany'. Nope, that was actually his grandfather, his father was born in the Bronx. After Barr released a letter on the Mueller investigation, Trump said the following "I hope they now go and take a look at the oranges, the oranges of that investigation, the beginnings of that investigation.". There have been numerous reports of Trump not recognizing old friends, forgetting names and details of important people and events and various other signs heavily associated with dementia.

This is an actual transcript of a Trump speech. Feel free to tell me anything Joe Biden has ever said sounds crazy in comparison to this word salad.

"Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible.”

Well, the strong economy has just taken an incredible hit, people are going to be laid off in large numbers, and the middle class better have good savings and a credit rating.

We studied Trump's economy in HS economics. My teacher told us about a "black swan" & how Trump was doing all the wrong things to be ready for it. He made colossal mistakes w the economy but managed to distract his base bc he got them to fixate on the stock market & on unemployment numbers (even though wage growth was pitiful).

But also what can be baked into this is the knowing in this case no other contender against Trump could have done better. People will still feel with Trump policies they'll still have a better economy in time than with the Dems.

Horse pucky, Bobber. As much as I don't like Hillary, she is the person to have handled this problem at 3am. Trump clearly, watching the briefing tonight, is drifting in and out of clarity.

Every contender in the Dem primaries this year would have done a much better job than Trump.

Missing in all this discussion about age and cognitive impairment is a recent study that came out regarding dramatic increases in dementia and Alzheimer's in Millennials. Between diet, lifestyle, vaccines, etc., younger brains are being damaged at an unprecedented rate. How does that bode for the future of politics?
Hasn't seemed to hurt the incumbent among his base. We'll soon see if that's enough to win reelection.

The number of millennials with early-onset Alzheimer's disease is surging, report finds
Anyone who thinks that vaccines are damaging kids are brain damaged themselves. They probably also believe in AGW, flat earth, and that Obama was a Muslim.

Now that Biden seems to be the preferred candidate of the Democratic Party, are you worried about the condition of his mental health? If elected, is his VP going to be the real president?

I hope he has dementia... let the election be a fair fight. ;)

Like I said it's rambling and he does that and always has.

Biden however comes across as confused, unable to find words and forgetful as he speaks. We have had dimensia and alsheimers in my family. They sounded more like Biden than Trump.

The economy is great. If it wasn't we would have growth, wage increases and low unemployment.

No, that is untrue. Donald did not always ramble and lose track of what he was saying while he was saying it. He used to speak in whole paragraphs with complex clauses. That was back in the eighties when he was in his prime. Nowadays, it is sad how limited and repetitive his speech has become.
