And if one looks at the story rationally that imperfection was his fault. But we were discussing the problems with the Garden of Eden story.

What are those problems?

I don't hold to the Dake version of creation.
God created a perfect creation, (Gen 1:1), and this is how He did it, (Gen 1:2-31).

An ancient earth is a perfectly reasonable if we consider that the earth was originally created for the angels. They rebelled, the earth was trashed, and instead of beautiful bodies with which to enjoy "Eden", they were then given the hideous bodies of reptilian monsters which reflected their new evil nature.

Because not only does that mean that God is not omnipotent and omniscient but now one is declaring God to be dishonest as well. You may not realize that is what you are doing, but it is undeniable if one understands the concept of evidence.

Then is that even a "belief"??

I am not typing on this computer because I "believe in" computers.

I "believe in" God, and the Gospel, and Christianity.

When I talk about "evolutionism" I am talking about a competing belief system to the Bible doctrine on origins.

Then he clearly was not perfect, nor is God omnipotent and omniscient. You are not reasoning rationally.

Where did the idea of God's omniscience originate?

God allowed Lucifer perfect autonomy on earth. Lucifer hatched his scheme without God's knowledge.

We both project. You negatively, me positively.

But, imagine the glory God receives for creating a complete earth from nothing.
The universe is an awesome thing. There is plenty of glory to be had for creating it, no matter how it was brought about.

None of it is false. All of it is inspired. Even Genesis 1, a hymn of praise to the creator, and Genesis 2, an etiology. Neither of those texts is 100% accurate literal history, but they are inspired and true all the same.
You took my answer to another poster out of context.
But...if it is all true, why do you imagine they are NOT 100% accurate?

Sure, but also the confusion of presenting an apparently old earth as being young. Of course this could be the fault of the translators. The bible is rife with understatement and brevity. Why not so in Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2?

Accurate about what? I was referring to the genre determination. I was just looking at my Harbor Freight catalog which came in the mail today and you know what? It's very poor poetry--it contains no evocative images and it doesn't even rhyme.

If the dinosaurs were vegetarians why the teeth of carnivores?

"And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so." Genesis 1:30

We could say the same thing about many creatures that lived in the past and today, the saber tooth tiger, and tigers of today, they were created with the teeth of carnivores.

There's this.
Isaiah 11:7
"And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox."

By my understanding that comes from the Bible. I just want to be clear, you are stating that God is neither omniscient, omnipotent, and now he does not appear to be omnibenevolent by your beliefs either.
