Just 30 mins ago I had a dream about my own death that may answer questions about death and repentance. I am going to write about all of the good stuff an remain positive as I am almost positive that this dream came from Jesus.

I was on a bus and I had a heart attack, and I went through the process of death many bad things happened to me but I was not afraid as I had accepted Jesus earlier in my life.

At this point I am going to state that I saw Jesus BEFORE my soul or spirit left my body, and I got a chance to repent, things are alll starting to get foggy about the dream but tha last part I remember was not standing in front of Jesus but floating in the air rising up towards heaven.

To continue on as I stood in front of Jesus , and repented , I remember now , He did accept this repentance.

I felt at some point my spirit, or soul , leaving my body, and it started to descend downwards. As I go closer and closer to Hell, I felt Satan fleeing because he did not want to go there, this makes sense to me as he is as afraid of Hell as we are, remember, he is not there yet.

Does that mean that we all get chance to repent in front of Jesus after death? That is a good question, now that I had a chance to remeber my dream after the fact. I simply do not know, has anyone else had a dream like this ?

Jesus has just told me as I am writing this that someone else had either the other half of this dream, or the full dream last night , that might confirm it, someone here on Christian Forums, that is why He hd me post it here first.

In closing I want to say that just because I have had a dream like this , it does not mean that we are not to repent in all of our lives.

Dare I say that the soul does not cease to exist after death, death is not final, but a transition, just like birth, and a fact of life.

This is your first experience outside of your physical body? I had plenty of them, yes, you are floating, I fly just like superman when I am there, Paul had similar experiences. I think this is your first sign of spiritual awakening, you may experience more and more "strange" things while sleeping. When it first happened to me I was around 16, I had not even the slightest idea what happened at that time, it took me years to learn that it was an OBE, an experience outside your body. I was floating upwards and when I was close to pass through the ceiling of my room, the experience ended.

I had dozens similar dreams, just few days ago I had one and I met these dark entities you would call demons, they are demons. This humanoid being said to me: "You are so ugly"; and my answer back was: "Go away from there Satan!";

I too saw images of Jesus, but let me tell you this, never but never believe blindly in these experiences, they may very well be illusions, lies, to trick you, so be in guard.

If you are sure 100% that it was Jesus Christ, then, well done, you have been given an unique gift and chance!

This is not my first experience of OBE, and yes I am not sure that it was even it was Jesus, the image was fuzzy so it may only back up what I have dreamed in other occurences. After all a dream is just that a dream, sometimes it may be prophetic, other times it may not.

This may have been in answer to a question I had in my mind about an individual that passed away in her sleep, she had previously said that she did not believe, and never would, and as she did pass away in her sleep I wondered where she went , the Bible makes it clear as to the answer, so have to accept that answer.

Try again to ask the Creator if she made it to heaven and see what answer you get back, if it's the same answer, clearly she made it, but be aware, you may be wishing her to be there and so you have these experiences.. The mind is very clever.

I had lucid dreams every night for about 2 years when I was about 18. I would start off my dream every night the same way by walking down the hallway of my parents house out into the street and would fly to different locations. One night when I was standing in the street I looked back at my parents house and decided I was going to go watch myself sleep. When I was walking back to the house wind was trying to stop me I finally got in the front door and walked back down the hallway. As soon as my hand touched the door knob to my bedroom my eyes flew open. Apparently this is not allowed in the spiritual world. Every dream I had I was fully conscious to the fact that I was at home sleeping. I was talking to a girl once and she asked if I was here or if I was a dreamer. I was curious and asked her where is here. I don't think she was able to tell me seems like certain rules apply in the spiritual world.

You are right demons are very prevalent when people are dreaming. I have noticed they always try to start up a dialogue and usually end up speaking blasphemous things and try to get you to do the same. They can also imitate loved ones very well, probably why the Bible teaches us not to communicate with the Dead.

Yes, they take the bodies of the people we love, in special those who died, they do this to trick us, this is how they attack me and if you talk with them, they are going to say many blasphemous things, so this it's better to not engage with them, just: "Go away from here, Satan!"; and that's it.

You too are gifted with spiritual powers, do you still have these dreams? You know, the power is never lost, it's just in a dormant state, because you are more focused on the physical than on the spiritual.

Yes I do just not every night. In the last 14 years I've been a part of two different churches. Within a week of being at each one I had vivid dreams of exactly how my departure from each church would come about.

Everything God does has a purpose. We need to asks God what our dreams mean and what He wants which is what Joseph (Gen 31:16) and Daniel (Dan 2:27) did.

The enemy can appear as an angel of light. II COR 11:14 so we need God to guide us

Personal opinion: believe God gives people every opportunity to accept Him. God doesnt use our definition of death because it's based on the physical.
