It's not judging. Would you not signpost a dangerous stretch of road to let people know to take care? Or just let them find out about the blind corner the hard way?
Generally I don't do that...no.

7But He said to me, ‘Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son. Now, therefore, do not drink wine or strong drink, and do not eat anything unclean, because the boy will be a Nazirite to God from the womb until the day of his death. (Judges chapter 13)

That is the word to the parents of Samson. I'd forgotten this bit, I must confess. Many Christians assume that Lord Jesus was a Nazirite as He was the first born. The command to Samson's mother is presumed to apply to Mary also.

I apologise for misleading you. However, I believe the principle holds good. I know a certain young woman who would be delighted if her mother had followed the same advice.

"A Democrat Councilwoman in Denver said she stands in "solidarity" with calls to intentionally spread Coronavirus to Trump supporters This is how the left truly feels about us It shouldn't be dangerous to support the president RT if

should be removed!"

True??? Who doesn't really care about a global issue?? But just wants to profit personally at the planetary population's expense?

We always need to conder the source: Reveal News

"About Us
Founded in 1977 as the nation’s first nonprofit investigative journalism organization, The Center for Investigative Reporting has developed a reputation for being among the most innovative, credible and relevant media organizations in the country.

Reveal – our website, public radio program, podcast and social media platform – is where we publish our multiplatform work.

Our award-winning journalists hold the powerful accountable and reveal government fraud and waste of taxpayer funds, human rights violations, environmental degradation and threats to public safety. We consistently shine a bright light on injustice and protect the most vulnerable in our society...."

This appears to be a social justice activist platform. I will put their analysis on hold until I hear from sources I already trust.

So based on this you're saying that women should adhere to Biblical instruction given to mothers-to-be of Nazarites, meaning that they should not take ANY alcohol, nor ham or bacon, but as much sugar as they want is OK? And the topic of the thread is Trump having a report rewritten on the danger of a chemical to the unborn yet you have nothing to say about that?

Sounds about par for the course, to me.

I'm not impressed with an article suggesting that an organic solvent is a teratogen, as though we need fear that particular solvent, as opposed to all of the other organic solvents, which are all mostly teratogenic and suspected carcinogens. The fact is that we're fairly limited in our efforts to clean and remove grease from machinery without them. The fact remains that if we eliminate this one, then we'll be using some other organic solvent in its place, until the EPA bans that one, and so on, ad infinitum. I think it goes without saying that pregnant women should stay out of the Safety-Kleen business, and the like.

These complaints are disingenuous. Pregnant women are regularly exposed to one particular organic solvent above all others, familiarly known as gasoline. It's much easier to fight against a chemical most people have never heard of than to fight the one that gets them to work in the morning.

People spend all day farting a greenhouse gas, and then they puff themselves up playing an environmental superhero.

On the face of it, I decided to look up who exactly is making the article you linked to so I could validate it's veracity.

'Journalism' is the production and distribution of reports on events. 'Storytelling' describes the social and cultural activity of sharing stories, sometimes with improvisation, theatrics, or embellishment. Please note, nowhere in their description do they claim to be reporting. It's a legal thing. They call it storytelling, and their articles are called stories. That way if they get called out, they can say they told everyone they were telling stories, not reporting. Play on words here.

While toxic chemicals are a real issue, there is a worse problem that women can control completely. It is foetal alcohol syndrome. When the angel announced to Mary that she was to bear the Lord Jesus, he warned her not to allow a drop of alcohol into her system. If women were to follow that advice, there would be a lot fewer disabled children.

Which advice? Where? Luke 1 NASB

My apologies. I studied this issue a very long time ago. Sometimes memory is not as reliable as I'd like.

To clarify, the initial command to avoid alcohol was given to Samson's mother. The account is found in Judges 13 and has a lot of similarities to Gabriel's announcement to Mary. I was told that Lord Jesus was a Nazirite as He was the first born. So the implication is that Mary should follow the instructions given to Samson's mother.

At the time I was a member of a Baptist church. You probably know that they frown on alcohol consumption and that may have influenced their interpretation. I no longer believe that Lord Jesus was definitely a Nazirite and He probably did not abstain from alcohol. As to Mary, it is not stated.
