In my opinion this is a very logical and accurate explanation of the relationship between President Trump and the Christian churches from 2017 until now.

This was given to Pastor Johnny Taylor in late 2018 in some sort of a dream or something.

President Trump is definitely pro-Life and pro-Israel so I would tend to suspect that more churches would tend to give him more support than he gets in spite of the fact that diplomacy with the politically correct crowd is not be his strong suit?

A pastor has a powerful dream or vision about President Trump.

"President Trump was standing outside in the dark and a big spotlight was shining on him like he had broken out of prison. He was being fired at and was taking all the shots and being hit by bullets being fired from the dark from the prison. Pastors and Christian leaders were standing behind him kind of pushing him out in front of them. They were praising him for standing up for them. Then the Lord spoke and said, “He is not supposed to be standing up for you. You are supposed to be standing with him. When you stand with him, persecution will come like it has come on him. When you stand with him, I will back you up. I will defend you. I will stand with you. If you don’t stand with him, they will kill him.”
“...they will kill him,” the entire meaning is...everything God has done through this administration will be overturned...those things will also die...the enemy will kill everything God has done through President Trump. God is calling us out of the shadow to stand in the light...He will take care of His children...
(Pastor Johnny Taylor)

Why are you respamming your own closed threads ?

Because I had put it in the wrong forum but it got an amazingly rapid and rather enthusiastic response. Actually..... one of the problems was that it turned into a political discussion so I assumed from that that here was the most appropriate forum for it on CF.

President Trump is definitely pro-Life
Trump has said/says he is pro life.

It's politically a big advantage for him of course.

But, it's not the same as actually being Pro-Life.

A pro life in real truth would be to help poor women and families feel it is safe to have their children, instead of terminating their pregnancies....!!!

President Trump’s budget would cut the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grant and Contingency Fund — which provide funds to states for short-term income assistance, work programs, and other crucial supports for poor families with children — by $22 billion over ten years. Such cuts conflict sharply with the purported goals, as stated in the budget, of reducing poverty and providing work opportunities to poor families.
President Trump’s Budget Cuts TANF Despite Stated Goal to Reduce Poverty, Boost Work

President Trump has put forward a 2019 budget that cuts basic assistance that millions of families struggling to get by need to help pay the rent, put food on the table...
Trump Budget Deeply Cuts Health, Housing, Other Assistance for Low- and Moderate-Income Families

What will be the result? More abortions than would have happened with better support and safety.

There are actual, real, actions....

An important thing to remember about Trump -- he is a master salesman.

Good at making something seem better than it is.

You have made some very good points that I am philosophically in agreement with...... yes.... women should feel safe to have their babies!

Could a Basic Minimum Income for all Americans decrease abortions?

Could a Basic Minimum Income for all Americans decrease abortions?

I could be wrong... .I often am but I do suspect at least some connection between Roe vs Wade happening in 1973 and then one year later Prime Minister Pierre E. Trudeau is somehow talked into making what I believe may be the most serious error by a sitting Canadian Prime Minister in the last six decades.

It would have been impossible to arrange the following surge in the national debt of the USA:

The Public-Debt Problem

If Canada had continued with the rather brilliant central banking policies that we had had from 1939 - 1974.

OPEC oil prices were one factor in this......
but so perhaps were the ideas of Thomas Robert Malthus :

Here are the statistics for deaths among African Americans since 1973:

The Bank of Canada Must Finance our Country, Debt-Free

Five hundred dollars per Canadian per month, can this work?

I am advocating the usage of the Bank of Canada that is owned by all Canadians to finance giving five hundred dollars per month to all thirty seven million Canadians.

It will of course mean much more to poorer Canadians than to millionaires........
but it could be surprising how many stay at home wives with cheap and stingy millionaire husbands who control the purse strings of the home may find this extra five hundred very helpful indeed.

I suspect that well over eighty percent of of Canadians will spend this money reasonably well and:
1. enrol their kids in more after school programs.....
2. begin to purchase a higher percentage of organic produce vs the cheap GMO stuff
3. purchase a newer car, SUV or half ton truck
4. do renovations to their homes
5. hire landscapers to do certain projects on their properties
6. pay down their debt loads, especially the higher interest ones
7. buy a new home rather than renting
8. buy a cottage outside the city so that they can get away for weekends
9. many will choose to move to rural Canada in order to escape relatively hectic city life
10. eat at nice restaurants more often

11. I also believe that a significant percentage of Canadian women who would have chosen to have an abortion under the present economic situation will CHOOSE to keep their babies as opposed to having an abortion!

I suspect that less than ten percent of Canadians will attempt to live off this five hundred dollars / month and simply use it to drink or smoke more.
To whatever degree this happens the worst cases where these Canadians put themselves and others in danger this can be dealt with by issuing food stamps vs a monthly check.
