I summarize Revelation with: Look out! It’s all going to happen and we should be aware and prepared for it. Be not in the dark as Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:3-4
Actually the first Five Seals were opened at Christ’s Ascension, as per Revelation 5 and 6:1-11 and Zechariah 6:1-7

Proved by the terrible wars, famines and plagues we have experienced since then. The Sixth Seal, Day of the Lord's wrath, is the next prophesied event we can expect, with its dramatic cosmic and world shaking things prophesied, triggered by an attack upon Israel. Psalms 83, Micah 4:11-12

This worldwide disaster will cause the nations to combine in a One World Government, but we Christians will be motivated to go to and settle in all of the holy Land. We are seen there by John in Revelation 7:9-14 and when the Great Tribulation of the 7 Trumpets and 7 Bowls starts: in Daniel 7:25, Revelation 13:7 and in Revelation 12:14-17. We see how some Christians are taken to a place of safety for those 1260 days, but the rest must remain in the holy Land while under the control of the 'beast', Revelation 13:5-7. Daniel 11:32-35 tells how the Lord’s people are divided at this time. Zechariah 14:1-2 describes this conquest.

All this information is given to us before it happens so we are without excuse if we fail to take note of and understand God's Plans for the end times. Amos 3:7, Revelation 1:1-3

Revelation was written for first century Christians to show that God never leaves them and to help get through persecution at that time. Yet, I wonder whether the it precludes similar events in the future.
I am also starting to come to that view.
Notice the similarity of these 2 verses, and this could also be future for Jerusalem?

Luke 21:24
And they shall be falling to mouth of sword and they shall be being led captive into all the nations.
And Jerusalem shall be being trodden by nations until which may be being filled times of nations.

Revelation 13:10
If any to-captivity into captivity is going away.

If any in sword to be killed, is binding him in sword to be killed.
Here is the endurance<5281> and the faith of the Saints [Luke 21:24]
=============================
Jewish history Josephus writes about the Jewish captives in the 1st century:

The Destruction of Jerusalem - George Peter Holford, 1805AD

Of the Jews destroyed during the siege, Josephus reckons not less than ONE MILLION AND ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND, .................Of the captives the whole was about NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND.

The Destruction of Jerusalem - George Peter Holford, 1805AD

The day on which Titus encompassed Jerusalem, was the feast of the Passover................

Of the Jews destroyed during the siege, Josephus reckons not less than ONE MILLION AND ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND, .................Of the captives the whole was about NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND.

........the tallest and most beautiful youths, together with several of the Jewish nobles were reserved by Titus to grace his triumphal entry into Rome.
After this selection, all above the age of seventeen were sent in chains into Egypt, to be employed there as slaves,or distributed throughout the empire to be sacrificed as gladiators in the amphitheatres ;
whilst those who were under this age, were exposed to sale.[Deuteronomy 28:68]

Jerusalem was trodden by all nations. In addition to the Galileans and Idumeans fighting alongside the zealots the soldiers under Titus weren't all Romans. Foreign troops from other countries in the Roman empire also provided garrisons.. mainly Syria, Egypt and Arabia.

What parts of Revelation [if any] concerns 1st century Jerusalem? Or is it future for it or neither one.

Not sure what you are asking.

Jerusalem continued to be wracked with conflict up thru the Bar Kokhba war ..

Some thought he was the Messiah.

"Bar Kokhba" meaning "Son of the Star" in Aramaic, from the Star Prophecy verse from Numbers 24:17: "There shall come a star out of Jacob ". The name Bar Kokhba does not appear in the Talmud but in ecclesiastical sources.

Bar Kokhba | Jewish leader | Britannica
https://www.britannica.com/biography/Bar-Kokhba-Jewish-leader
Bar Kokhba, original name Simeon Bar Kosba, Kosba also spelled Koseba, Kosiba, or Kochba, also called Bar Koziba, (died 135 ce ), Jewish leader who led a bitter but unsuccessful revolt (132–135 ce) against Roman dominion in Judaea. During his tour of the Eastern Empire in 131, the Roman emperor Hadrian decided...

Simon bar Kokhba - Wikipedia

Despite the devastation wrought by the Romans during the First Jewish–Roman War (66–73 CE), which left the population and countryside in ruins, a series of laws passed by Roman Emperors provided the incentive for the second rebellion. Based on the delineation of years in Eusebius' Chronicon (now Chronicle of Jerome), it was only in the 16th year of Hadrian's reign, or what was equivalent to the 4th year of the 227th Olympiad, that the Jewish revolt began, under the Roman governor Tineius (Tynius) R…

Paul died believing that Jesus would return any minute. In fact ALL the apostles and disciples believed Jesus would return in their lifetime.
That is the belief of some Christians. So what happened? Did His prophecy fail them?
What is the consensus of when Revelation was written/visioned?

Add/edit: Matthew 24:3
Yet of Him sitting on the Mount of the Olives, the Disciples came toward to Him according to own saying "be telling to us! when shall these be?
and what the sign of Thy Parousia/Presence and full-end/consummation of the Age?

James 5:8
be ye patient! also stand-fast the hearts of ye,
that the Parousia/Presence of the Lord has-neared

Revelation 1:3
Blessed/happy the one reading and the ones hearing the words of the Prophecy and keepings in it having been written,
That the Time/Season is nigh.

Revelation 22:10
And he is saying to me "no thou should be sealing the Words of the Prophecy of this Scroll .
That the Time/Season is nigh

I would say that there are two possibilities. The prophecy is partially fulfilled or, its a failed prophecy.

The bible is the book of life and not a history book. It does not change. Jesus Christ keeps coming back spiritually. You will see him spiritually and not physically.
John 4:24 says "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth"

Matthew 24:30 says" And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. This verse means that we will see him coming in the clouds SPIRITUALLY.
Daniel 7:13 says "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven"
Revelations 1:10-11 John says "
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.
Jesus Christ comes to each and every single one of us individually in spirit. That is why you need to be prepared all the time for his coming( Matthew 24:36-42)

The Jewish Christians who fled to Pella escaped the sorrows of war, their non-Christian brethren did not. Concerning the famine induced by the siege of Jerusalem, Josephus writes:

Then did the famine widen its progress, and devoured the people by whole houses and families; the upper rooms were full of women and children that were dying by famine, and the lanes of the city were full of the dead bodies of the aged; the children also and the young men wandered about the market-places like shadows, all swelled with the famine, and fell down dead, wheresoever their misery seized them. The Wars of the Jews 5.12.3."

Peter did not believe Jesus would return in his lifetime.
John 21:18
18Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.” 19(This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, “Follow me.”

Peter knew he would be killed to glorify God. He didn't preach imminence knowing he would die first

Yet, he knew he would die before the return of Christ and we're still in the "end times"

Peter also spoke of what some saw as a delay.
2nd Peter 3:8
8But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,a not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

OK..

Have you overlooked the Bar Kokba Revolt and Hadrian?

The third Jewish war broke out in 130-132 AD and ended when the Jews were expelled from Jerusalem. Some were sold into slavery in Egypt. The Revolt coincided with uprisings in Egypt and elsewhere.

Have you overlooked the Jews are back in Jerusalem ? And we still await the return of Jesus. Matthew 24:29-31
29“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

That is Scofield not Revelation.

The Jews believed that the Bar Kohkba Revolt was the fulfillment of Daniel and Revelation. Of course like the Apostles and Disciples they got it wrong too according to the far futurists.

Jesus Christ comes to each and every single one of us individually in spirit. That is why you need to be prepared all the time for his coming( Matthew 24:36-42)
The Lord does come to us spiritually in the person of the Holy Spirit.

Zechariah 14
1Behold, a day is coming for the LORD, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in your midst. 2For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3Then the LORDwill go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. 4On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. 5And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.a

This passage shows very physical events when the Lord returns
