I have seen the ISS several times (even recorded it) and it is higher than a plane flying at 6 miles high but again, no higher than i am thinking 24 miles. Unless they can fly this plane or what ever it is at different heights. And the speed is fast than a plane but agin no even close to 17,000 mph, more like 1000 to 1500 mph.
Okay, but you didn’t answer my questions

It’s clearly not a plane. It doesn’t have anything that would allow it to fly, and it never seems to come down.

If it’s not a space station, what is it?

Except if it was only going 1,000 to 1,500 mph it wouldn’t be able to “circle” the earth at the rate it does. I use the “satellite tracker” app to see where it is. Given the fact that it’s 100% accurate, how does the ISS movement even work on a flat earth model?

And seriously, did you just completely make up the speed at which you think it’s traveling?

At 17,000 mph so in about 1.00 minutes it should travels about 300 miles. So from where i am in Ms it will be a little past the Texas Louisianan border in a minute, never have seen that.

But at 1,500 mph in a minute it will travel about 25 miles and that fits more what i am seeing.

More ISS photos from 20 to 30 miles high.

Back in post 436 I attached a photo of some of the many different lenses they use when taking photos from the I.S.S.
Many of them are telephoto lenses. Do you have an uderstanding of how the different lenses affect the resulting picture?

It's a weather balloon filled with swamp gas.
There. I explained it with two things you believe in. :)
Here was a chance for you to contribute with a real response, yet in typical fashion this post and the one after this have nothing of substance.

Would you like to help me understand why you can’t see the mountain peaks I referenced a while back?

Would you like to explain what you believe the I.S.S. to actually be and how you think it actually moves at the speeds it does?

Would you care to explain how the eye witness testimony of people who flew as passengers on the Concorde and the photographic evidence they provided can be so easily dismissed?

What about the photo that d_taylor himself provided showing the curvature from a U2 spy plane? What of the other civilians that have been able to fly up in a U2 spy plane and have seen the curve? Are you content to just call them liars and move on?

Can you provide any sort of substantial response to these questions that have been raised? Please do us all a favor and become more than an unhelpful distraction who only interjects noise.

Personally, I think that they have something up there... we can see it... As to whether there are people on it... not a chance... It's a mechanical impossibility and there are too many holes in their attempt to show video of them being there.. Too many errors in their acting and CGI.. Too much hair spray, too many wires and bubbles. Too many SCUBA divers and drownings. The whole thing is a production.

What was it that one "astronaut" said about how they fix a leaky seal in the mechanism that opens and closes shields on the window?.... "Well, if we get a leak, then we have a leak"? Seriously Mr. Pettit?
Have you even heard that guy talk? I wouldn't let him run my pool.

That question is irrelevant because there is no wall with photo lenses in a erector set (ISS) 250 miles high orbiting the earth.

But what image stabilizer are they using since they are moving at 17,000 mph. Or are you saying they are hand holding these lenses. Did not see any tripods in your picture.

I have a computer where i work and on the computer is a app or link to a site where this site shows the tracking of the ISS. But I have several times from work wrote down the time stated on that site, that the iss would be passing over my location.

I have yet seen the iss as stated by this site, when it is suppose to be passing above.

I know a friend of mine has a iss locator on his phone and i have seen it when he has said it was coming over our area a few times.

Well, people will see what they want to see. However, the scuba diver drownings would certainly be undeniable. Can you provide the names of astronauts that have died scuba diving? I haven’t heard this before.

You didn't know they added snorkels to the suits so the astronauts don't drown in space?

Well, people will see what they want to see.

What does that even mean? Does that mean that globe believers see only what they want to see as well? How about ISS believers? Or.... just people who watch the videos of the lady with hair, straight up and stiff as a board, claiming that it is due to weightlessness and call it for what it is.... Hollywood space hoax.

However, the scuba diver drownings would certainly be undeniable.
I didn't say "SCUBA diver Drownings" I said SCUBA divers, which there are videos of...... And "drownings" two separate things separated by the word "and"....

I do admit that there was not a reported drowning but a reported "near" drowning.. So....now all the astronots... in "Space" have snorkels..... Really? Now that's comedy.

Can you provide the names of astronauts that have died scuba diving? I haven’t heard this before.

Concerning this... I really hope you just read my post too fast and you're not really seriously trying to be that ridiculous.

No cgi here. You would think if there is so many satellites floating in outerspace Google earth could have more up to date pictures. My house is five years old and Google still shows a empty field. I have a friend that was a paratrooper. He said one of his job was to catch satellites before they hit the ground or fell into the water so they could collect the data. First thing i thought was why do they need to collect data if they are supposedly transmitting it real time.

Thank you for that. Up until now, I had only imagined this to be the case.
Now if you can just get a picture proving they filled the weather balloon with swamp gas it may constitute evidence even our stinky friend may accept! lol

You're being generous to a fault if you glance at posting history.
It looks like a degeneration into flustration is deconstructing the spin.

QUOTE="SPF, post: And once again, you continue to post empty, unkind, unhelpful one sentence responses.
Considering the source, that sounds like a compliment.
Thank you very much.

I suppose it’s asking too much for you to actually give a reply with substance to the post I made?
Thank you for asking, YES! Your posts are generally too insulting to reply to. Thank you for the opportunity to explain.
Don't forget to get your vaccines!

So to clarify, when you said “too many” you weren’t referring to drownings, as there have been zero drownings, right?

You didn't know they added snorkels to the suits so the astronauts don't drown in space?
No, I didn’t, can you show this to be true?

That's not a picture of a Google satellite, so I'm not sure why you posted it. That was actually made by Samsung, as part of some 'SpaceSelfie' thing they did. It doesn't go any higher than the stratusphere.

My house is five years old and Google still shows a empty field.

Really? I see pictures of my house that are generally up to date, about a week or two, and you can find pictures of events that happened much earlier. Search for Google Earth pictures of the Austrailian bushfires, for instance.

At any rate, there are plenty of satellites that take pictures of the Earth every few minutes, and they can be seen by the public. Would you to see some?

I have a friend that was a paratrooper. He said one of his job was to catch satellites before they hit the ground or fell into the water so they could collect the data. First thing i thought was why do they need to collect data if they are supposedly transmitting it real time.

Aside from the fact that this is a secondhand account at best, who said that ALL satellites transmit in real time?
