What is the ‘Kingdom of God’ if not the in breaking of God’s rule here on Earth?

The belief that the ‘Kingdom of God’ is ‘heaven’ is entirely non-Biblical.

The man lived by his own choice in a remote area. His cabin burned down and he escaped it, but didn't have escape from the area he lived in by choice..

If you go homesteading in an area devoid of people, you don't expect there to be many services now do you?

Had he lived near other people, he might have been able to stay in someone else's house to stay warm.

It seems to me politicians are representing their voters, who are not in all cases the same as those being taxed...

There is a reason why our founders thought the right to vote should be kept in the hands of land owners. Because they are who are actually being taxed - or certainly those taxed at the highest rates.

If God does not tolerate idleness and laziness among His people then He is not at all a proponent of socialism. In Bernie Sanders own proposal he writes that there is a wage even for those "unwilling to work". How naive is that. Before one votes for drastic changes like this one should educate oneself on these stipulations being proposed. The sad truth is that many today would not find fault with such a stipulation. The education system fails us as do parenting duties.

A government powerful enough to give you all you want is strong enough to take everything you have. Jefferson, I think. Maybe not the exact words.

The debt is not reality. There is no "debt overlord" to ever call in the debts.
That's why the Bible advocates for forgiveness of debts every 7 years.

Where we have socialism you find someone tried to legislate helping the poor and it disrupted the economy. Soon we have more and more poor on our roles for assistance. Schools, law and order, governing agencies become corrupt. People vote a pay check or pay hike...government employees...others vote themselves all sorts of free-bees and increases in assistance because they are the recipient thereof. All ushers in socialism, totalitarianism and loss of personal freedom.
