As for man being made in the image of God:

Sometimes our spirit has a different mind than what our body desires. We have to decide (with our soul, our core mind, will, and emotions) to make a decision on what path to take. Do we satisfy our flesh alone or do we seek to satisfy the new man (or the new born again spirit)? Besides, where does it say that we have to be a carbon copy of God just because we are made in His image? Does a photograph of me (image) as the same thing as a twin version of myself?

The Trinity:

The Bible teaches that there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) (1 Timothy 2:5) (Isaiah 45:5).

Yet, the Bible also teaches that there are distinctions within the Godhead or that there is a plural nature to God.

The Trinity is told to us in one verse.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7).

Romans 1:20 says,
"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Meaning, even nature itself declares the Godhead (or the Trinity).

Atoms = Nucleus, Protons, Electrons.
Water Molecules = Hydrogen Atom, Hydrogen Atom, Oxygen Atom.
Man Made in God's Image = Physical Body, Spirit Body, Soul.

Although the word "Trinity" is not found within the Scriptures, the word "Godhead" is used instead (Acts of the Apostles 17:29) (Romans 1:20) (Colossians 2:9).

Here are Some More Points in Refuting the Oneness Doctrine:

The Holy Spirit is said to be another Comforter:

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;” (John 14:16).

The Holy Spirit can be blasphemed whereby a person will never be forgiven, but this is not the case with the Son:

“And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” (Matthew 12:32).

Important Note: Only God can be blasphemed.

The Father Sent The Holy Spirit:
The Father will send the Holy Spirit, not Himself, to help believers:

There Is A Difference Between The Father And The Holy Spirit:

Then who on Earth was Jesus talking to when He prayed?
Why would Jesus need to pray to God the Father and ask Him to let this cup pass from Him? Why would He ask that towards God the Father if God the Father was not distinct and different in some way from the Son? Why would He need to make a request with Himself? It makes NO sense.

What about at Jesus's baptism? All three persons of the Godhead or Trinity were present.

This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17).

How can God the Father say that He is well pleased with the Son if in reality the Son really does not exist as a persona and He is just an administration or office? Or how can God the Father say he is well pleased with the Son if it is actually Himself down there with a different name carrying out a different function? It would be deceptive of God to do that because it implies a different persona. If God wanted to make clear that there was no distinct (or different) personas of Himself, then He would say something like: "I am well pleased in what I am doing now as the Son." This is what would have to be said if what you say is true in your beliefs. But that is not what we see in Scripture. We see Jesus treating the Father as if it was a different persona. So your denial of the Trinity is not biblically sound.

While Jesus did do miracles by both God the Father and the Holy Spirit, Jesus had power of His own, too.

For during His Earthly ministry: Jesus is God (not in Word only but also in power), as well.

1. Jesus said He was going to raise up the temple (his body) three days later (John 2:19-20).
2. Jesus said He had power to raise the dead to life just as the Father can raise the dead to life (John 5:21).
3. Jesus said where two are three are gathered in his name, He is among them (Matthew 18:20).
4. Jesus held everything together by the word of his power when he purged us of our sins (on the cross) (Hebrews 1:3).
5. Jesus had the power of God to forgive sin and provide eternal life to people (Matthew 9:5) (John 10:28).
6. Jesus had the power to take away the sins of the entire world (John 1:29).
7. Jesus received worship as God (Matthew 28:16-17).

Only God could do those things.

If someone asserts that Fluffy and Spike are “the same dog” and denies that they're both dogs, and that they're one and the same, we have no idea what this person is asserting. Similarly with the claim that Father and Son are “the same God” but are not identical (Merricks 2006, 301–5, 321; cf. Tuggy 2003, 173–4).

The idea of the Trinity is as unexplainable as it is incomprehensible. How could we make such a thing a requirement?

We could imagine St. Peter at the Pearly Gates asking for your definition of the Trinity before allowing admission. (answer correctly, otherwise you're toast) - lol

A lesson in misunderstanding.
Fluffy and Spike are not the same dogs, but they are dogs, they have the same father and share the same likeness.

Substitute Trinity for Saviour.
Deny the Saviour and you are out. Accept the Saviour and you have the Triune God. If you do not want a fate worse than death, you have no other choice.
