Maybe, I was unclear in my question. Maybe if I surround my question with a multitude of words you will understand better? As this seems to be what you like to do with your answers?

Yet I cannot find a multitude of words to go along with this simple question.

I asked: ""Do you believe that you will ever be without sin in this life? "

Yet you cant help but answer questions concerning "known unrepentant sin." Why cant you just answer the question? Or at least, if you have to separate sins into categories, give an answer that would cover all of your sin categories.

You leave me no choice but to guess and assume since you cannot answer plainly.

I assume that you are saying that, after you are saved, you are still capable of committing UNKOWN REPENTANT SINs?

If this assumption is correct, and going along with your statement that "sin separates you from the love of God," can we conclude that You are separate from God's love, when you commit these types of sins, after you were saved and connected to Gods love prior to committing this sin?

Thank you my dear friend but I answered you directly the first time and understood your question the first time and simply provided the supporting scriptures as evidence of my answer to you.

God's Word teaches that it is not God's will that we sin *1 JOHN 2:1 and that salvation is from sin not to continue in sin *JOHN 8:31-36. According to the scriptures "sanctification" is the work of a lifetime because we are to continue in the scripture believing and following God's Word moment by moment and day by day in order to be his disciples *JOHN 8:31; JOHN 15:4; MATTHEW 10:22.

According to the scriptures when we first become Christians we are likened to babes in Christ because we do not know much about the Words of God *1 PETER 2:2. Then as we continue in God's Word and start seeking God for ourselves through His Word, God's Spirit guides us and becomes our teacher *ISAIAH 28:9; JOHN 14:26; JOHN 16:13; JOHN 17-17. This is a part of God's new covenant promise *HEBREWS 8:11.

According to the scriptures there are two categories of sin as we grow in Christ. Sins we know about in our lives that are sin and sins we do not know about that are latter revealed to us as sin*JAMES 4:17' ACTS 17:30-31; HEBREWS 10:26-27.

As we grow in God's grace and the knowledge of the truth *COLOSSIANS 3:10; 1 TIMOTHY 2:4; 1 CORINTHIANS 15:34; 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5; EPHESIANS 1:7; EPHESIANS 4:13; PHILIPPIANS 3:8; COLOSSIANS 1:9-10; 2 PETER 1:3-5, God revleals more things to us though his Word that are sins and calls us to repent of these sins when he reveals them to us *HEBREWS 10:26-27. When we do not know something is sin (unknown sin) than in times of ignorance God does not hold us accountable to these sins *ACTS 17:30-31.

At every step of the way, day by day we can choose to believe and follow God's Word or not to believe and follow God's Word. We need to abide in Christ (the Word) because without JESUS we can do nothing *JOHN 15:4; 1 JOHN 3:6. The scriptures teach that if we are born of God we will not practice (known) sin *1 JOHN 3:9. Practicing sin is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil *1 JOHN 3:9-10 and those who have a form of godliness *2 TIMOTHY 3:5 and those who are godly *2 CORINTHIANS 7:10; TITUS 2:12.

Now as posted earlier it is not God's will that we sin (known sin). If any of us sin however all is not lost, we have an advocate with the father JESUS Christ the righteouss *1 JOHN 2:1. It we continue in sin when we have been given a knowledge of the truth however, there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of the judgement to come *ACTS 17:30-31; HEBREWS 10:26-39.

May you receive God's Word and be blessed.

I have to admit, your words do sound holy and seem right.
Well thank you Raymond but I cannot take any credit for them as they are God's Word's not mine and they are a blessing to all those who receive them, believe them and follow them and a curse to them who do not.
Yet: "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
Indeed this is the path of all those who practice known unrepentant sin and reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.
So it is not sufficient enough to follow, blindly, that which seems right.
That is why God wants us to give up our opinions and follow him through his Word *ROMANS 3:4
When you say God's Word, are you talking about a book, or the living word......which proceedeth out of the mouth of God?
JESUS is the living Word of God *JOHN 1:1-4; 14 who has given us his written Words which we have life as we believe and follow them *MATTHEW 4:4; JOHN 3:16-21. God's Spirit is in his Word and works through the Word in those who believe *JOHN 6:63; JOHN 3:16-21. The written Word has been given to us from the living Word and it is Spirit and it is life to all those who believe and follow them. None of us receive JESUS without receiving, believing and following His Words *JOHN 1:12; JOHN 10:26-27.

blessings

There are surely only two ages for us, the now in which we live, and the future when we are within God's Family. As for Blasphemy it is speaking against God and his ways.

Good grief Nigel!

You are not paying attention to the posts.

You however are seriously discombobulated.

Jesus Christ declares "You DID NOT choose Me, I chose you." You do NOT become a member of His family by any choice of your own. It is NOT by the will of the flesh, but solely on the foundation of HIS draw.

THE TEACHING OF THE SCRIPTURES about the eons provides answers to frustrating questions concerning the meaning of human existence. God’s purpose in creating man, and God’s purpose of the eons are inseparably related. Of course Jesus said, 'You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit'. But each and every one of us still has the freewill God gave us to accept or reject his offer. Jesus chose me, what and privilege, what an honour but it still had that second part of me accepting him as my Lord and Saviour. In doing so I have to live to bear fruit, fruit that I will do and offer to him with all my heart. Loving God is still a two way connection, we are not robots or puppets but humans that have a real choice in how we live.

Nigel: Coming into Christ Jesus is completely on the basis of His will and draw. We are indeed wills, those wills have been badly damaged by the great chasm of the fall of A.& E. and the subsequent loss with them.

The work of at-one-ment is to bring wee wills into alignment with the Will of all wills when it shall be free indeed!

[ALLEGED] FACTS REVEALED CONCERNING THE EONS
TIME AND ETERNITY
A[n alleged] Biblical Study
Linking to an alleged word study by an anonymous person with no stated or demonstrated expertise in Biblical languages is not credible evidence for anything.
.....I could quote from the highly accredited Bauer, Danker, Arndt, Gingrich Greek lexicon but it would be instantly rejected as biased, without any credible evidence that it is biased.
But if you are interested here is a link to the 1957 edition.
A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature, Gingrich & Danker
.....Here is my own study of the word aionios, in the NT, not quoting any scholars or any lexicons just scripture alone.
In twenty four [24] of the following verses αἰών/aion and αἰώνιος/aionios are defined/described as eternal, everlasting, eternity etc, by pairing or contrasting it with other adjectives or adjectival phrases. I have been posting this study here for a few years it has never been refuted.
List of verses cited:1 Timothy 1:17, 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, 2 Corinthians 5:1, Hebrews 7:24, 1 Peter 1:23, 1 Timothy 6:16, Galatians 6:8, John 6:58, John 10:20, 1 John 2:17, 1 Peter 5:10, Romans 2:7, Luke 1:33,Revelation 14:11, John 10:28, John 3:15, John 3:16, John 5:24, John 8:51, Ephesians 3:21, Romans 1:20, Romans 5:21, Romans 16:26, John 3:36 , John 4:14, John 6:27
…..In the NT “aion/aionios” sometimes refer to things which are not eternal but neither word is ever defined/described, by other adjectives or adjectival phrases, as meaning a period of time less than eternal, as in the following verses.

…..In 9 of these verses Jesus has defined “aionios” as eternal. In 10 verses Paul has defined “aionios” as eternal.

[1]Romans 1:20
(20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal [ἀΐ́διος/aidios] power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
[2]Romans 16:26
(26) But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting [αἰώνιος/aionios] God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
In Rom 1:20 Paul refers to God’s power and Godhead as “aidios.” Scholars agree “aidios” unquestionably means eternal, everlasting, unending etc. In Rom 16:26, Paul, the same writer, in the same writing, refers to God as “aionios.” Paul has used “aidios” synonymous with “aionios.” In this verse by definition “aionios” means eternal, everlasting.
[3]Luke 1:33
(33) And he shall reign [βασιλευσει][Vb] over the house of Jacob for ever; [αιωνας/aionas] and of his kingdom [βασιλειας][Nn] there shall be no end.[τελος/τελος]
In this verse the reign βασιλευσει/basileusei, which is the verb form of the word, is "aionas" and of the kingdom βασιλειας/basileias, the noun form of the same word, "there shall be no end.” “Aionas” by definition here means eternal.
[4]2 Corinthians 4:17-18
(17) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal [αἰώνιος/aionios] weight of glory;
(18) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal;[πρόσκαιρος/proskairos] but the things which are not seen are eternal [αἰώνιος/aionios]
In this passage “aionios” is contrasted with “for a moment,” vs. 4, and “temporal,” vs. 5. “Age(s)” an indeterminate finite period, it is not the opposite of “for a moment”/”temporal/temporary” “eternal” is. “Aionios” by definition here means “eternal.”
[5]2 Corinthians 5:1
(1) For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal [αἰώνιος/aionios] in the heavens.
In this verse “aionios house” is contrasted with “earthly house which is destroyed.” Is God going to replace our destroyed earthly house with a house which only lasts a little longer and will be destroyed at the end of an age? The aionios house is not destroyed, the opposite of “is destroyed.” Thus, “aionios” by definition here means “eternal.”
[6]Hebrews 7:24 but because Jesus lives forever [αἰών/aion] he has an unchangeable [ἀπαράβατος/aparabatos] priesthood.
In this verse “aion” is paired with “unchangeable.” If “aion” means “age(s),” Jesus cannot continue “for a finite period” and be “unchangeable” at the same time. Thus “aion” by definition here means “eternal.”
[7]1 Peter 1:23
(23) For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, [ ̓́αφθαρτος/aphthartos] through the living and enduring word of God. …
1 Peter 1:25
(25) but the word of the Lord endures forever.[αἰών/aion] " And this is the word that was preached to you.
In verse 23 “word of God” is paired with “imperishable.” The same writer, Peter, in the same writing 1 Peter in verse 25 writes the word of God “endures εις τον αιωνα unto eternity. ” Thus by definition “aion” here means “eternity.”
[8] 1 Timothy 6:16
(16) Who only hath immortality, [ ̓́αφθαρτος/aphthartos] dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting [αἰώνιος/aionios]
In this verse “aionios” is paired with “immortality.” If “aionios” is only a finite period, God cannot be “immortal” and only exist for a finite period at the same time. Thus “aionios” by definition means “eternal.”
[9]Galatians 6:8
(8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; [φθορά/fthora] but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. [αἰώνιος/aionios]
In this verse “aionios” is contrasted with “corruption.” “Fleshly” people reap “corruption” but spiritual people reap “life aionios,” i.e. “not corruption.” “Age(s), a finite period, is not opposite of “corruption.” Thus “aionios life” by definition here means “eternal/everlasting life.”
[10]John 6:58
(58) This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.[αἰώνιος/aionios]
In this verse Jesus contrasts “aionios life” with “death.” If “live aionios” is only a finite period, a finite period is not opposite “death.” Thus “aionios” by definition here means “eternal.”
[11]John 10:28
(28) I give them eternal [αἰώνιος/aionios] life, and they shall never [αἰών/aion] perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
In this verse Jesus pairs “aionios” and “aion” with “[not] snatch them out of my hand.” If “aion/aionios” means “age(s), a finite period,” that is not the opposite of “[not] snatch them out of my hand’” “Aionios life” by definition here means “eternal life.”
[12]1 John 2:17
(17) The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. [αἰών/aion]
In this verse “aionios” is contrasted with “pass away,” “lives aionios” cannot mean a finite period, which is is not opposite of “pass away.” Thus “lives aionios” by definition here means “lives eternally.”

[Previous post continued]
[13]1 Peter 5:10
(10) And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal [αιωνιον/aionion] glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, [ολιγον/oligon] will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
In this verse “aionios” is contrasted with “little while” Does Jesus give His followers a finite period of glory then they eventually die? Thus “aionios” here, by definition, means “eternal.”
[14]Romans 2:7
(7) To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, [ἀφθαρσία/apftharsia] he will give eternal [αἰώνιος/aionios] life.
In this verse “aionios” is paired with “immortality.” If “aionios” is only a finite period, believers cannot seek for “a finite period,” and “immortality” at the same time. But they can seek for “eternal life” and “immortality” at the same time. Thus by definition “aionios life” here means “eternal life.”
[15]1 Timothy 1:17.
(17) Now unto the King eternal, [αἰών/aion] immortal, [ ̓́αφθαρτος/aphthartos] invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever [αἰών/aion] and ever [αἰώνιος/aionios]. Amen.
In this verse “aion” is paired with “immortal.” “Aion” cannot mean “age(s),” a finite period and immortal at the same time. Thus “aion” by definition here means “eternal.”
[16]Revelation 14:11
(11) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:[εις αιωνας αιωνων/eis aionas aionon] and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
In this verse “aionas aionon torment” is paired with “no rest day or night.” If “aionas, aionon” means “a finite period” at some time they would rest, “Aionas, aionon” by definition here means “forever and forever.”
[17]John 3:15
(15) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal [αιωνιον] life.
In this verse Jesus pairs “aionion” with “shall not perish.” Believers could perish in a finite period, “aionion life” by definition here means eternal life.
[18]John 3:16
(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting [αιωνιον] life.
In this verse Jesus pairs “aionion” with “should not perish.” Believers could eventually perish in a finite period, thus by definition “aionion life” here means eternal or everlasting life.
[19]John 5:24
(24) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting [αἰώνιος] life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
In this verse Jesus pairs “aionios” with “shall not come into condemnation” and “passed from death unto life.” “Aionios” does not mean “a finite period,” by definition here it means “eternal,” unless Jesus lets His followers come into condemnation and pass into death.
[20]Romans 5:21
(21) That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal [αἰώνιος] life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
In this verse “aionios life” is contrasted with death. “A finite period life” is not opposite death, “eternal life” is. “Aionios life” by definition here means ‘eternal life.”
[21]Ephesians 3:21
(21) to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever [του αιωνος/tou aionios] and ever! [των αιωνων/ton aionion] Amen.
In this verse “tou aionios ton aionion” is paired with “throughout all generations.” "Age(s)" a finite period cannot refer to "all generations." By definition “tou aionios ton aionion” means forever and ever.
[22] John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting [αἰώνιος/aionios] life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
In this verse aionios life is contrasted with “shall not see life.” If aionios means an indefinite age that is not opposite “shall not see life” By definition aionios means eternal.
[23] John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting [αἰώνιος/aionios] life.
In this verse aionios is contrasted with “shall never thirst.” If aionios means an indefinite age that is not opposite “shall never thirst.” By definition aionios means eternal.
[24]John 6:27
(27) Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting [αἰώνιος/aionios] life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
In this verse “aionios meat” is contrasted with “meat that perishes” .” If aionios means an indefinite age that is not opposite “meat that perishes.” By definition aionios means eternal.
[25]John 8:51
(51) Very truly [αμην αμην/amen amen] I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never [ου μη εις τον αιωνα/ou mé eis ton aiona] see death."
According to noted Greek scholar Marvin Vincent
"The double negative signifies in nowise, by no means. Θεωρήσῃ[theōrésé], denoting steady, protracted vision, is purposely used, because the promise contemplates the entire course of the believer's life in Christ. It is not, shall not die forever, but shall live eternally."

My friend: The restitution of all things is not the subject of this O.P. It is the awesome love of God for us and them and the all in between.

The Love of the Lover of all lovers always wins the hardest of the hard. Nothing can separate our Father Abba's love for us!

NOTHING

Dear Raymond: why can I not come up with such profound posts?

These pages are filled with the pleasure some get in the four hell's. I find wonderful relief in the fact nothing but nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus the Lord.

According to the scriptures only we can separate ourselves from God through continuing in our sins *ISAIAH 59:2, denying God's Word *JOHN 3:18-19 and rejecting the free gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.

Dear Love: According to John 3:16 God so loves the world. It is a love that is beyond anything any of us can imagine. It is excessively wide and deep extending beyond the beyond. There is NOTHING that separates our Fathers great love for all of us, absolutely nothing!

And in the following verse we read that same God who loves us has not come to condemn us, but>>>>>>

"That the world thru Him might be saved."

I am of a certain persuasion that this One we call Abba will do what He has set out to do!

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him." -MSG-

Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him." -MSG-

Dear Fine, absolutely but these scriptures are only to all those who believe God's Word and accept the gift of God's dear son.

According to the scriptures many are called but few are chosen because men love darkness (false teachings) rather than light (truth of God's Word) because their deeds were evil (sin). He that believes on him (the Word) is not condemned but he that does not believe (the Word) is condemned already because he has not believed in the name (The Word is Saviour; MATTHEW 1:21; JOHN 1:1-4; 14) of the only begotten Son of God. Every one that does evil (sin) hates the light (truth of God's Word), neither comes to the light, lest his deeds (sins) should be reproved. *JOHN 3:17-18.

As posted earlier according to the scriptures only we can separate ourselves from God's gift of salvation through continuing in our sins *ISAIAH 59:2, denying God's Word *JOHN 3:18-19 and rejecting the free gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23. JESUS has made the way of salvation opened for all mankind we know that the scriptures teach not all mankind will be saved because not all will accept the gift of God's dear son.

Dear Love: There is no such thing as "only" in the world of the Unlimited God of spendour. He does not only love us (all of us), He loves us excessively. Love never fails, God never fails!

Coming to know Him in this excessive love begins when He says "follow Me". Few, very few, have ever heard Him & cannot begin the journey back into Him until that momentous invasion.

God IS Love: Love never fails!

Dear Fine, depends if you believe the scriptures or not. The scriptures do not teach many are called and everyone is chosen *MATTHEW 22:14. According to the scriptures, God's salvation is conditional on believing and following His Word. God's Sheep hear His Voice . Those who do not hear and follow are not his Sheep *JOHN 10:26-27.

Again, the O.P. of this thread is the inescapable love of God. That love, flowing from the LOVE GOD, has nothing that can separate us or them and those in the middle of us & them, the whole groaning creation.

God, the love God, is not a potential Saviour, He is Saviour of the all & especially.

God is love indeed and love is expressed through His LAW as our duty of love to God and man *MATTHEW 22:36-40. He is indeed our saviour in love but not everyone will accept the gift he holds out with nail pierced hands because it is written men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. Many are indeed called in love to view and see God's love but few are chosen because they do not believe and refuse to follow.
