Jesus was fond of sinners and encouraged people to build up their neighbors.
Who is could be a better socialist than Jesus? Jesus spoke about self-management
of money more often than faith and prayer combined. Any ideas why?

Your entire proposition is invalid. Jesus Christ is our King of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom is a Divine Monarchy.

Politics is of man, it's just a show on the world's stage, a game, it has nothing to do with Jesus Christ.

I referred specifically to socialism.

Socialism is a political, social and economic philosophy encompassing a range of economic and social systems characterised by social ownership of the means of production and workers' self-management of enterprises.

Proverbs 22:7
The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender.

Proverbs 13:11
Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.

Ecclesiastes 5:10
He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.

Luke 12:15
And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

1 Timothy 6:17-19
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

Proverbs 13:22
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the sinner's wealth is laid up for the righteous.

He did no such thing.
Jesus taught that a legitimate use of money is to support the Lord's work through the religious institutions the Lord established (Matthew 23:23; Mark 12:41-44; Luke 8:1-3).

Jesus taught that we ought to pay our taxes (Matthew 17:24-27; 22:17-22).

Jesus taught that we should use our financial resources to help the poor and needy through benevolence (Luke 10:29-37; 18:18-25; compare James 2:15-17) and missions/ministry support (Luke 8:1-3; 10:1-9).

Jesus taught that we should use our material possessions to meet essential family needs (Matthew 7:7-12; Mark 7:9-13; compare 1 Timothy 5:8 and 2 Thessalonians 3:7-10).

Jesus taught that we should exercise careful money management and exercise shrewd wisdom prior to making any purchase (Luke 14:28-30).

Jesus taught, particularly through his frequent illustrations of stewards (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 16:1-13) and farming (Matthew 13:8, 23; John 4:34-38), that it is appropriate, and even expected by the Lord, to invest our resources for long-term gain and/or financial security.

Jesus taught that we should not depend upon our resources, but upon God, as the source of our supply, trusting him to meet our essential family needs (Matthew 6:9-13, 19-34; Luke 12:22-34).

Jesus taught that, since we are merely stewards, we should invest ourselves into the lives of others, not hoard our resources to ourselves (Matthew 25:34-40; Luke 6:30-38; 10:25-37; 12:15-21).

Jesus taught that we should not use the power of money to lord it over others, either through arrogance or coercive manipulation (Matthew 18:23-34; Luke 7:40-43; 20:9-16).

If "self-management" is indeed a key to understanding this matter, Jesus was a Libertarian, not a Socialist (the exact opposite political stance).

I guess it all depends on what you don't know about socialism.

Socialism is an economic and political system. It is an economic theory of social organization. It believes that the means of making, moving, and trading wealth should be owned or controlled by the workers. This means the money made belongs to the people who make the things, instead of a group of private owners.

I'll have to stop you there. Not above, but at this point.

Socialism does not believe the wealth or anything else should be owned or controlled by the workers. The nature of Socialism is that the governing elites are to have the power, which translates also into the privileges and wealth. What is left over is available, however, for everyone else, including the conscripted laborers.

I don’t think Jesus was in any way socialist. Socialism is an evil ideology in which people think other must pay for them. It is legalized theft.

Jesus obviously taught that we should help others and do good, because of love, but it is should be voluntary and not so that someone can go and collect money from other people against their will. Also, Jesus taught that:

… the laborer is worthy of his wages….
Luke 10:7

That fits in no way to socialism, where people think it is right if other people must work for them.

Jesus said also:

Be careful therefore how you hear. For whoever has, to him will be given; and whoever doesn't have, from him will be taken away even that which he thinks he has."
Luke 8:18

Very anti-socialistic.

Socialism takes freedom, and I think Jesus wants that people are free.

…You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."
John 8:31-32

I hope USA doesn’t choose socialism, it ruins the country. It would be nice if world would have one country that defends freedom and rights of its people.

You can try, I guess.
Socialism does not believe the wealth or anything else should be owned or controlled by the workers.

I didn't write any of the definitions.

What is socialism?
Socialism has three main meanings:

1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.

3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

Socialism is a social theory … makes sense. It theorizes that a collective cooperation of citizens will make all governmental institutions public. For example, no one will receive a healthcare bill when going to the doctor because they, and everyone else, have paid a hefty amount in government taxes. That’s where the collective cooperation comes in.

You're right, of course. Jesus was not political. In addition, there was no Socialism until recent history. All the claims that admirers of modern Socialism make about earlier movements leave out parts of what makes Socialism what it is.
