Not much left to investigate, really. That Biden did exactly that is well known. He acted pursuant to President Obama's orders on behalf of the United States, the EU and the IMF.

But people read these news stories, and whenever they see "So-and-so person is under investigation," the evil doom-and-gloom music starts playing in the background.
