I had a spiritual attack by a goat/dog headed demon

I woke up 3:45 am. I had a weird dream, many monks worship this beast and the were giving giveaways that had the image of that beast, I felt the amulet was cursed letting this being enter their houses. I felt a panic when I was the image closer. It was posing a Jesus Christ. My father found it charming and grab one of them aswell. I was angry at him and told him to repent, and throw that thing. Then the dream skips into me speaking with God, asking why people felt so happy chasing that demon, when it felt so disturbing and eerie. I felt he told me I was like them in the past and I had no position to judge. The second dream skips happen, it was between sleeping and being awake in my bed. I felt that thing follow me. He was trying to speak and persuade me, but I couldnt understand him. He was tall 5 meter tall, very skinny, and way too eerie. At the point, death was a desirable escape. His spirit was hundreds of times worst than all the spitual attacks I ever had in my life combine. I pray the lord Jesus to safe me, he banished out of fear of my words. I need insight on why that happen, and how can I avoid getting another visit.

You ought to be like Smith Wigglesworth - when he woke up and saw the devil standing at the end of his bed he say, "Oh. It's just you" and turned over and went back to sleep. He had no fear of the devil or his demons at all because he knew that they could never hurt him.

There is the story about a woman who was accosted by a mugger intent on robbing her. She said very assertively, "I am a child of God and the devil can't get anywhere near me!" The mugger said, "All right then" and walked away.

These people believed the Scripture: "You shall tread on snakes and scorpions and nothing by any means will hurt you".

There is another story about a lady accosted by someone intent on stealing her purse. She yelled at him: "Acts 2:38!" The robber ran for his life. When the police caught up with him they asked him why he ran away from her instead of robbing her. He replied, "She told me that she had an axe and two .38's and I wasn't going to stay around that woman!"

In John Bunyan's Pilgrims Progress, Christian was walking along the road when he saw two ferocious lions, one on each side of the road. He was frightened, but carried on. As he got close to them he saw that they were chained so that neither could get into the middle of the road, and so he passed by between them without harm. This is John Bunyan's way of saying that although the devil and his demons and look very fearsome, they are chained so that they can come close but not close enough to do you any harm.

Billy Connolly has two very descriptive words to tell people to get on their bikes, the second word is "off!" and the first word which I cannot say on this forum. That's how we should treat the devil or his demons when they try to spook us with their "smoke and mirrors".

Do you eat late at night? Often this is the problem. Getting proper sleep is important.

What is it in your life that keeps that demon attached to you may well be the big question you ought to ask. i know that satan has always a way into us before he can manifest himself to us. Ask Jesus to demonstrate to you what in your life attracts this demon and let Him take it away.

Sounds like sleep paralysis and by now, as a Christian, you should not be having any visitations. Are you walking in the Holy Spirit? You can stop all evil spiritual attacks by rebuking in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Satan has no power over a Holy Spirit filled Christian. And fear has no place to settle.

What I do before I go to sleep, I ask the Lord, through the power of the blood of Jesus, to prevent me having any nightmares that involve me feeling claustrophobic or trapped, and needing to cry out for help. I have had some of those and they certainly are not pleasant.

But I did have one where I dreamed that I got out of bed and saw a dark forbidding shape coming up the stairs. I rebuked it in the name of Jesus! Then I woke up back in my own bed and realised it was a dream.

We have all sorts of dreams, and some of them can be quite crazy. I sometimes wake up and say to the Lord, "That was a crazy one!" It is interesting when I have a dream about someone I know, I see it as a reason to pray that their faith in Christ does not fail. Just the other night I had a dream about a person I had not seen for the last 40 years! There must have been a reason for it, so I prayed for her that Christ would keep her close to Him and that no harm would come to her.

I don't interpret my dreams, and I don't advise anyone to try to interpret their dreams. This is because Sigmund Freud wrote the defining book on dream interpretation, and he was an atheist who believed that mental illness always stemmed from something sexual.

This has led me to believe that dream interpretation has an occult origin, and is not Biblical at all.

Unfortunately, I havent recieved the babtized of the holy spirit. I know I have the holy spirit, but never the stage of babtized. I was demon oppress at 11 until the age of 17, I live with asperger syndrome, you can tell I had been cursed by Bael. I trust God will save me one day, and I try doing his will. Escaping selfpity is a thing I do everyday with gratitude to the lord, but at times I wonder if my sins are too big since I keep backsliding.

Yes i have often been demon possessed as well in my struggle with mental illness so understand what you are saying when you say i was possessed.

However faith in Jesus gives you the authority to send any wicked one away. Please understand that lies keep demons attached to us so it is the truth of Jesus which will set you free from attacks.

So do put your faith in Jesus and ask Him to show you in what way your illness opens you up to unclean spirituality. So you become aware of them within and the lies they tell/scream to your mind.

i have never been baptised in the holy Spirit in a religious gathering, but i did receive the Spirit of God when i put my faith in His Son Jesus and asked Him to be the King of my heart instead of those demons doing evil all the time. Any Spirit filled person can bless you with the holy Spirit through the laying on of hands, as long as you have been baptised in the name of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus filled me up with faith, love and hope and i have overcome all those evil forces stuck to my life and am never visited by evil any more but my heart is at rest and in His peace.

Ask and you will receive. There is no secret, just ask Him for His Holy Spirit. This is His promise to us. And after believe and walk in His Spirit.

I once experience a physical attack as a newer Christian while I was asleep. After I woke, I asked God for more power to overcome such attacks. That next day I went to church and out of the blue one of the ministers spoke to me and said that God told him that I already had the power. I had told no one of the attack so that sure was a correct word. In other words, you have the authority from God to command such items out of your life. I have never had a repeat of that attack. I don't think that it means you are in a weak spiritual condition, just that the devil is taking notice of you and trying to install fear or other negative emotions in your life. It is good to keep praying about the meaning etc, but know for sure that you have everything in Jesus to overcome.

Joseph's interpretation was not of his own dream, and it came by direct revelation from God for the purpose of saving Egypt and Jacob's family from starving in the seven years of famine.

Totally different to the Freud inspired dream interpretations of obscure dreams today.

Many things could be said at this point. But as long as you believe you are helpless against the demon, you will be helpless against the demon. I have to regroup my thoughts on this and I may be back later, I'll suffice it to say that much for now.
