OP continued:
The Bible defines every we need. 2 Tim 3:16

But again other sects of christianity which have similiar views are called dominionists....I heard about many sects in washington DC which follow Christ's rule over and above any of mans rule, and they would be a good group to get on board with this theocracy....

a book called "the family" by Jeff Sharlot

is a very interesting read I have read about half of it.

it talks about dominionism, or dominion theology and how it is currently affecting politics today, it traces dominionism into legislators world views and organizations and tracks dominion organizations dealing with bringing Christs' kingdom to earth.

and obeying His commands, I highly recommend it.

Here is a quote:

"
But at Ivanwald, or in a prayer cell at the Cedars, or in conversations with world leaders, the Family’s beliefs appear closer to a more marginal set of theologies sometimes gathered under the umbrella term of dominionism, characterized for me by William Martin, a religious historian at Rice University and Billy Graham’s official biographer, as the “intellectual heart of the Christian Right.” Dominionist theologies hold the Bible to be a guide to every decision, high and low, from whom God wants you to marry to whether God thinks you should buy a new lawn mower. Unlike neo-evangelicals, who concern themselves chiefly with getting good with Jesus, dominionists want to reconstruct early Christian society, which they believe was ruled by God alone. They view themselves as the new chosen and claim a Christian doctrine of covenantalism, meaning covenants not only between God and humanity but at every level of society, replacing the rule of law and its secular contracts. Since these covenants are signed, as it were, in the Blood of the Lamb, they are written in ink invisible to nonbelievers."

@Jamdoc another poster said something similar which I Will address to:

No need for dogma, just systematic theology. I don't give any honor to mans creeds, just the Bible. We would only legislate the Bible, but I can see a need for some type of systematic theology to dictate which laws still apply in the new testament etc. I would appoint 12 apologetics directors, ravi zacharius, norman geisler, June hunt, John ankerburg, and some others I can't rememeber. They would all have a single vote to see if a certain church was considered "orthodox.' Then churches would recieve federal tax dollars to take care of social issues such as the entire wellfare system as well as ophanages, and probably healthcare. I would put a lot of responsibility on the church, but they would have federal funding. the tithe money would go to the government because it was a theocracy. I would require a 10% tithe, but I would also require a 7 year jubilee. So they would average out. Every seven years they had one year debt free. And every 50 years they had all loans forgiven. So those little perks would help the economy. Also I would require the farmers to give the land 1 year rest in 7. You let it over grow and allow homeless or charities to glean from the land, and the rest you let fall. But they could not use equipment on it. They have to do it by hand. There are various old testament rules I would establish, but I am not fully fully all knowleagable so I don't exactly know how a theocracy would work, however I would pray over every law, and presumably fast. And all advisors would be required to read through the Bible every year. And all churches would be required to teach expositorily through the Bible every 7 -10 years. to gain federal funding.

another poster said:

well when you literally legislate "only" His words you sort of get around that problem. Correct? But ultimately it would boil down as to what laws were considered new testament and which were not. So I would appoint leaders from top seminaries to discuss that. But you don't just give up because it's hard. That does not set right with me, in any fashion.

Did you forget that Jesus could have been King over all the nations of the earth and declined? It was a satanic offer, one that Jesus did not succumb to. -

And another time Jesus said "My Kingdom is not of this world"

We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, in HIS Kingdom which is not of this world.

Pointing out the errors of those who couldn't understand that simple fact doesn't make the doing any less wrong, it's still a satanic offer, one that all who belong to Christ should decline to succumb to.

We live in the world, without being of this world.

Read 1 Corinthians 5:12-13.. leave the world to the world, and the church to its own people... we are light and salt, not rulers over them.

The Hebrew word for spirit is ruach, which means “wind, breath, air, spirit.” It's a point that shouldn't be forgotten.

the witch burnings were not God will. Can we agree on this? So then if they were not "governed by God" how can they be a theocracy? so I can argue that no theocracies have existed, not only in american history but in any country in the last several thousands of years. Secondly, even if there was a theocracy that you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt existed. (and I know you can't), but say you can and do prove that one existed, that does not mean that a theocracy cannot be done well. Lets apply this logic to other areas. Say you are learning to walk as a child and you fall, say 9 out of ten times the first week. You have a 90 percent failure rate, that does not mean you can never walk. In fact I would say the vast majority of people do end up walking even though they stumble at first. So this logic does not really follow, in fact there is a fallacy created to explain the folly of this logic. It's called "poisoning the well." And the logic is as follows: "since you made mistakes in the past, that means that you will always make mistakes." That is an assumption. Lastly these governments universally that have been mentioned made errors. And that is the very point why you are quoting their story to us here, is because they did make mistakes, witch burnings etc. So the fact that they made mistakes is proof that they did not legislate scripture fully, and/or did not listen to God's will. They may even have prayed but the prayer at that point was too late. You can't just live a life of disobedience and then pray for God to bless the mess. God desires us to follow Him. So it is this and other reasons that I do not think that these were theocracies. A true theocracy that legislates only scripture, and that prays for every decision, will succeed. As long as those in charge are faithful to God. And God has sent us His Holy Spirit to baptize us unto ministry to empower us and to fill us for such a time as this to do His will in the world.
This is no longer in a debate forum so I cannot debate this with you. However, I can answer your questions. You asked whether the witch executions were God’s will. According to the mindset of the 1500/1600s they were. You can’t impose a 20th century mindset on 16th century people. If you will read the books I suggested you will learn that it was a theocracy.

Just like you know Gods will in your personal life. You pray for it, you obey Him, you pray unselfish prayers, and have faith He will answer. To be honest I have a list of answered prayers over the last five years, there are two pages of answered prayers. I feel people lack faith. They don't truly believe God is out for their best interest. But He is, but He cares more about our inside our heart than about our health and wealth. We care about health and wealth and care less about the heart. God is not like that.

Again, how do we know you are God's vessel and what you say is passed down from Him? See, I'm a Christian. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I need no intermediary.

What you are suggesting is simply not biblical.

I used to think that God was far away and didn't care about the small stuff in life. Here is a glimps of living in the spirit, I have so much more to go but this is a clue....I took my boy out to taco bell for a soft taco and nacho fries but I had to get gas. They were next door to each other, the gas station was first. The logical thing to do is to listen to man's wisdom to go to the gas station first the since there is a lot of traffic to hit the taco bell next. God said to go to taco bell first. So I did. While inside a man in his late 20's early 30's came in with like a pregnant 16 year old. She was dressed in raggedy clothes so I instantly thought she was a trafficking victim. So I prayed if God wanted me to report it. He said no. So I prayed for them. It was all he wanted me to do and that was why he wanted me to go to taco bell first. Then as I was leaving in prayed if God wanted me to go to the Arco which was next store. He said no. So I went on a five minute car drive to the next one. I was able to give gospel tracts to two different people at that gas station and pray for a small family. So God WILL DIRECT every single step if we simply ask Him.

So then why is His kingdom coming in the future? Why does He ask us to pray every singe day for His Kingdom to come? It was not that God's kingdom on earth was a satanic offer it was that satan was offering Jesus Satan's kingdom instead of fulfIllinois the prophecY to be a suffering servant satan was trying to avoid the cross and avoid the mass saving of mankind through the gospel. Its easier to get Jesus side tracked with having a kingdom than to have Him save mankind. But Jesus would have that very kingdom, it's just that He would do it God's way not Satan's way.

But I didn't ask if witch burnings were a 16th century christians will, I asked if they were the true God's will. And the answer is no. So they disqualify the theocracy with that one act. The fruit of the spirit is "peace patience gentleness, self control, love." I can't find a fruit of the spirit as being "kill those you disagree with." That's as far from God's word as you can Get and the original etymology of theocracy is one that is governed by the True God. And they were far from doing God's will.

You do realize that this thread is no longer in a debate forum, don’t you? I’ve been limiting my responses to answering your (the OPs) questions. It sounds like you are debating.

Asking questions is not debate. Responding to questions is not debate. But fighting is what they want to avoid.

I responded to your earlier question by providing an answer. You replied by saying that my answer was wrong. You weren’t responding to my question because I didn’t ask one, nor did you ask me another question. What you are attempting to do is debate. If you want to debate I suggest you start a new thread in discussion and debate or that you pm me.

just because I disagree does not mean I am debating. Again asking questions and replying to questions is not debating. Moderators know people are different and are not all the same, that is why we come here to talk about it. The purpose of a non debate area is that fighting is not allowed. It's technically not allowed anyhwere. But all the more here, in the non debate forum. So I hope that helps. Just keep your cool, don't insult, don't mock. Don't belittle, don't make fun of others different than yourself. Again asking questions, and replying to them is not debate but mocking others is debate.

Again, you neither asked a question nor did you reply to a question because I didn’t ask you a question. All I did was reply to one of your questions. Disagreeing is debating. Now, if you want to ask me a question I will be happy to answer it.

again FYI guys disagreeing is not debating, asking questions is not debating, answering questions is not debating. The debating they don't want is simply being rude and not nice. So we can talk about stuff, we just can't fight about it. But granted if no one wants to talk any more I am ok either way I feel we have made tremendous progress and answered many misconceptions regarding what makes up a theocracy and alleged theocracies. So thanks everyone for talking!

Good story, but you did not answer my question.
I believe I did answer your question. You asked " how do you know your God's vessel." I shared how I pray over everything including this thread and God told me to make the thread. So there is only one conclusion. See, Theocracies don't exist, so it's not beneficial to create a thread in order to NOT MAKE IT EXIST, as that is the case already. The only logical conclusion is that it is God's will to bring up this topic to work through misconceptions for the purpose of making a theocracy sometime in the future, it could be the one I am hypothetically creating, or it could be His own. I don't know yet. That part is unclear. But I know God is honored in bringing up a theocracy, so that we can work through some of it. but yeah, I prayed and God told me to make this thread. So God has opened the door, and I went through. That is how you know you are God's vessel. It is very clear as to realizing I am or I am not God's vessel. Simply tell me NOT TO CREATE the thread would be the most straight forward way to reveal now is the wrong time. But He said yes. So to me that is confirmation as to His will regarding this. That does not mean I will be the president, I simply put myself as the president hypothetically speaking in the OP. I do feel God desires more of His laws to be enacted. I feel God hears the cries of the daughters that are trafficked, and those of the babies being killed in the womb, thousands a day. All these injustices and all their cries rise up to God every day. He could very well be doing something just as unconventional as a theocracy.

That answers why you believe you are his vessel. It doesn't answer why we should believe that. It is quite possible that your belief is wrong. We have no way of knowing. As such, we could not put our trust in you. It is possible that God had you create this thread so that you could understand the reasons it is a bad idea.

Let me put it this way....have you asked your pastor what you have asked me? Have you asked your pastor to prove to you that He is God's vessel? I am just curious. My response would be no you haven't, obviously. Because you are asking someone to do the impossible. And neither can I prove that I am God's vessel TO YOU. So if you don't believe me that is ok, I guess your pastor isn't God's vessel either. So good luck finding a new church with a pastor that can prove He is God's vessel. I guess if you can find someone who can prove that, then maybe we can recruit them also for the task of leading this theocracy (because he would have done for you something that I could not do). Until then I guess you just have me....:sigh: -Agreed?

But that's the thing. My pastor leads my church. You want to lead the nation. You want to make policy decisions that will change the world. Policy decisions you have no experience with or concept of. That's not the same thing as leading a church body. You want hundreds of millions to put their faith in you, not God. When you ask someone to trust that you are God's vessel and trust that you are correctly deciphering the Word of God and will tell them what He says, you are asking them to put faith in you... a human.

Surely, you can see how THAT is not biblical.

But that's the thing. My pastor leads my church.
but you DON'T KNOW THAT HE IS GOD'S VESSEL, THAT IS THE POINT. But you have faith that He is God's chosen vessel for your congregation. Without proof.
You want to lead the nation.
so what is the difference? Honestly. God says that if you are faithful with a few you will be leader over many. Mathew 25:23. so pretty please find one pastor that IS A PROVEN VESSEL OF GOD. Then we will make Him ruler over the nation. I will wait for you. If you can't find just one in all the world. Then you must admit that you were asking of an impossible thing, and that it should never have been a requirement. Again I will wait for all of this. Thanks for the debate I appreciate your willingness to debate politely and to take all this seriously without mocking it.
