YHWH struck the firstborn of Egypt הַלַּיְלָה בַּחֲצִי Exodus 12:29

Yahshua is not of the firstborn of Egypt. He is the covering for Israel.

By this time, the blood of the lamb was already on the doorposts of the sons of Israel.

(CLV) Ex 12:6
And it will become a charge of yours until the fourteenth day of this month. Then they will slay it, every assembly of the congregation of the sons of Israel, between the evening hours.

In other words, on the fourteenth day, during daylight hours.

between the evening hours.

In other words between noon and sunset ... approximately at 3:00 pm IDT. Ben Ha Arbayim (between the evenings) is often translated as "twilight" which for the purposes of Temple times would best be interrupted as from noon to sunset/sundown.

Some Messianic Jews may not be familiar with the parallels between the first five books of the Tanakh and the first five books of the Ketuvei HaShalichim (the Apostolic Writings).

To even compare a goat sacrifice in the wilderness to that of the Temple High Priest sacrificing the perfect, spotless, unblemished Paschal lamb implies that the Op doesn't understand :(

Good point.

(CLV) Mt 27:45
Now from the sixth hour darkness came over the entire land till the ninth hour.

How? Because the darkness came over daytime. Even if one can try to find a way to wiggle out of that one; the ninth hour of darkness, in Israel, at about the time of the spring equinox, would be well after midnight.

(CLV) Mt 27:46
Now about the ninth hour Jesus exclaims with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi! Eloi! Lema sabachthani?" that is, "My God! My God! Why didst Thou forsake Me?"
