Strong? Let's see, Trump is sabotaging relations with allies, breaking treaties, siphoning money out of the military for his wall, and doing pretty much anything Putin wants.

Sounds like someone Putin would prefer in office to me.

Trump is repairing the breaches in our security. That's a good thing.

Putin may be playing a misdirection game and actually supporting a Dem candidate. Bernie is a good fit as his socialistic proposals are more in line with those of Russia.

Trump is strengthening America. One would think that Putin would support a candidate that would weaken America. What's going on here?
You are mistaken. He is weakening America. That is why any true patriot will vote against Trump. The Russians are rather bright and can see that. They want a leader that will weaken American and make it ineffective.

That's a very valid point, all right. The president's enemies like to talk as though his policies have been beneficial to the Russians, but that's obviously untrue, and Trump has remedied the severe cuts in the Defense Department budget that were instituted under Obama, so there is no way that could benefit any would-be aggressor.

Empirical evidence would suggest otherwise.

Oh? I don't see it as obvious. Can you point to how Trumps policies are detrimental to Russia?

I always feel more patriotic under a Republican president.

That is rather strange since our recent Republican Presidents should have left you feeling the opposite. Here is a helpful hint. Don't listen to what they say, see what they do.

Perhaps Trump and Putin are both trying to schmooze each other into better relations. Putin has more to gain however.

It should be noted that since Trump shook up the NATO countries regard their military spending they are paying a lot more attention to their defense needs. I'm sure Putin doesn't like that.

Be sure to let Putin know. He has apparently forgotten to take your feelings into account.

I'm pretty sure he's aware of it. ;)

Would you consider Reagan recent?

I'm a patriot under either administration, even if they aren't. :D

According to the secretary general of NATO, Trump's policies have strengthened our alliance.

Not all of them. But he did support Putin over his own intelligence services, is disrupting NATO, gave US bases in Syria to the Russians, encouraged the Russians to hack his opponents e-mail during the election, fought against implementing Congressionally-mandated sanctions against them, shared top secret info with Russians, and so on.

Not to mention his inability to get election security laws passed to stop the from meddling in the 2020 election.

Only took a few posts to go from Donald's the right guy to strengthen America against a foe to hey, let's make up reasons to rationalize why Donald is so submissive to a leader who interfered in our domestic politics.

I mean, I know the recent news of the House being briefed about ongoing Russian efforts to get Donald reelected is not the kind of thing the GOP needs, but at least take some time to pick a set of talking points and stick with them.

Your president is fake in appearance and false in performance! Do not trust him, He is just playing around, just like what the Lord Jesus Christ spoke about him!

Yes, thank you, I'm well aware of that.

You're begging the question.

Perhaps Putin and his staff are smarter than you and your prefer media analysts and have a deeper, more insightful understanding of what constitutes "strength" on the world stage.

I always feel more patriotic under a Republican president.

That's your own personality flaw.

That could be applied to the immigration debate. ;)
Sure does apply. Having an illegal in my immediate family has reduced my fear of them quite a bit.
