Being oppressed

I’m not worried about not being Gods child or anything It’s just it’s so hard to bear being plagued by evil spirits and being opppressed while my enemies mock and scoff at me

the wicked in their pride etc etc..

Why is it so that I be oppressed and plagued by evil spirits when being doing my best to devote myself to God and serve him striving against sin yet am always in this prison of oppression

God called us to freedom...

Our faithfulness, if anything, only guarantees these tests.

I'm feeling very broken as well right now. The Lord revealed something to me lastnite in a dream and I was greatly disturbed by it. You know when you've been praying about something & your worst fears come true. I think I could do with a bit of weed right now lol. Kkkkk! This is terrible this.

Anyways such is life. Try psalms 25 as well.

It is a trial, and it's important to remember that God is in full control and allowing it for a reason. He always has a very good reason for trials like that.

I've dealt with oppression before myself, as have other Christians I'm sure, and will share what God revealed to me: keep your eyes on Him. Don't focus on doing your best or striving to overcome sin; you can't overcome without complete depends on God anyways. Focus on God and rest in Him. Wage war against satan's lies and temptations with the truth of God's word:

James 4:7 said:

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

It requires a battle, but your battle is keeping your eyes on God and resisting the temptation to fall into this trap. You're already free of this in Christ - just believe it. And deal with anything God brings up.

When I was tormented, the Lord gave me a simple word: Resist the devil and he will flee. I started doing that and yes, I got the freedom. We have absolute authority over all demons, principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this age and the spiritual wickedness in high places. Lord Jesus was not exempt from temptation just because He was the Son of God. Neither are we. But He has given us His own power and authority. All he expects us to do is exercise that authority. I'd suggest reading "War on the Saints" by Jesse Penn-Lewis. It will help you enormously.

There are times in our walk when we may feel alone, as though the Lord has abandoned us, in those times or despair, and Oppression from the Enemy and the attacks he brings against us, we should remember, Jesus has not left us alone, especially, He has not left us defenseless against such OPPRESSION

2Co 10:3-5
3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;
5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Rom.13:12
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

The Prayers of the Saints for you will only do so much, this is a battle which you must be victorious in, in order for you to truly know Jesus is always with you, the Holy Spirit "IS" within you, and that God Himself, knows and hears your Prayers.

You are the only one who knows where the Oppression is coming from, this is a time for "YOU" to be strong in the Lord.

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
1 Peter 4:12
it hurts and is scary, but
13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

i really couldn't, but after i went through this, years later, we talked about it with Father.
He told me : "If you trust Me AND follow Holy Spirit leading, that trial is almost painless"
Also He explained, WHAT is "fiery trial"
It is cleaning. Jesus said - everyone must be salted with fire"
no salting, no fire is pleasure. But it is must and Father do ALL to make it painless as possible to you.
So go with it and remember - IF it is trial, cleaning, trusting Father and follow Holy Spirit make it painless as possible, because
Father HATE suffering.

If you feel like "Lord hides in times of trouble", it is so.
But important is WHY?
Thing is, that, after going it through many times, once i told Him - You are silent? AGAIN...
Then i decide - no going mad to Him, no crying, no calling for help, NOTHING didnt help me previously, so i decide to do something new.
I shut down my bad feelings against Father - i didnt allow myself to even feel, that He might be guilty, careless or hating me...
And i stopped think about that situation.
I began to sing songs for Him and yes i cried, but, just because it was really scary situation.
So i didnt allow myself to DOUBT in Him.
3 days - and suddenly He start talking, told me, what to do and just 2 hours later , impossible, "no way out" situation was finished, with solution, that was REALLY easy for me!!!
After this He explained, that in trouble, we MUST trust Him.
Trust dont panic, trust dont yell, trust dont fear...
Trust awaits and is CALM.
It is not easy first time, but you must calm down and wait - read Bible, sing song, cry, but TRUST HIM.

So, when Father "hides", in real He just WAIT FOR YOU, to LEAD YOU. But He cant do that, if you dont trust Him. And sometimes, making "door in the wall", way out from situation... just takes time.

So you know that Jesus said that he held us inhis hand and that no one could snatch us out of his hand.

You also know that Romans 8 itsays that All things work together for the good of those who are called by God and further on it says Nothing in All creation can separate us from the Love of God.

You know them, question is do you believe them?

We are don promised an easy life, many of us have one, for those like you who don't the reality of using the spiritual ' muscle ' of faith is a painful necessity.
