What do you do when you realize that a life pleasing to God, has no chance of being pleasing to you?

That is not true. A life pleasing to God is very pleasing to man. That’s because God changes us to love truth, justice, mercy, etc., all things He loves. My life has pleased Him at times and it was the most exhilarating experience I ever had.

Yes, he has, but he will make sure that the circumstances of your life force you into the way He wants you to go. He will make your attempts to obtain those things fail. He will remove the material things. He will screw up everything you care about having.
I’ve known Him 50 years and He never did any of that that I saw. We know different gods.
Yes, he is right there, watching the pain and doing NOTHING. He doesn't care.
Again, not the God I know.

What do you do when you realize that you want NOTHING to do with a life of service, you don't want ANY suffering for ANY reason, you have minimal care about spiritual matters, and you want to be materially wealthy and comfortable? Yet, at the same time, you don't want to go to Hell. How can you reconcile the terrible life that God wants you to live, when it is basically everything you DON'T want in life?
I would say you must love God with all your heart mind soul and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. Without this self sacrificing love, you cannot be crucified with Christ and therefore you cannot be born again by the resurrection of Christ. A carnal man cannot live for God. He must die through repentance. I would pray and read God’s word in love and faith and hope there is so much more you don’t have a clue about. I say that as an encouragement. If our perspective does not bring righteousness peace or joy, we can be assured that we do not have the vision of life eternal. I’ll pray for you.

I am glad you haven't had the opportunity to see that.

He has also been that way from the Garden. He put the tree in the garden knowing we would choose to eat of it it and suffer for it. He knew billions upon billions would burn in Hell for eternity, yet he did it anyway. He may care but not enough to do anything about it.

I don’t see it cause it isn’t there. I can assure you Jesus was fully satisfied with his life. He doesn’t “see it” either.

No He didn’t. That was not how He sees the matter.

Oh this is not Him at all. He gave His only sonto save men. What more do you demand?

I don’t write the Bible, I just believe and it says we will be judged for the deeds done while in the body, both good and bad.

No He didn’t. That was not how He sees the matter.

Which part? He didn't put the tree in the Garden? Or he didn't know what choice Adam and Eve would make? Both are contradicted by the Bible. The first part is he wasn't behind creation. The second would be he isn't omniscient.

Oh this is not Him at all. He gave His only son to save men. What more do you demand?
If he really cared, he would not have put the tree in the Garden to start with.

That is great for Jesus. I am not satisfied with the painful hurtful life he planned for me. And before you start on the He didn't plan the pain part. He didn't stop it, he didn't say no, he gave his approval to the pain, so this is HIS plan.

I seriously doubt He planned such for you. Actually He promises a life different than the one you describe. You sure you are cooperating with His plan.
And before you start on the He didn't plan the pain part. He didn't stop it, he didn't say no, he gave his approval to the pain, so this is HIS plan.
To stop human choices is to be a tyrant. He isn’t a tyrant. You got the wrong god.

Well it’s pretty clear you don’t understand Him. You don’t disagree right?

He can be understood though. Im afraid it requires assuming he is good. Those who accuse God of evil will not find He gives them any understanding.

Perhaps you haven't found a role that fits you? The body of Christ is diverse. We're called to serve, but serving doesn't require the same things of everyone. We're all different. If you're well off, for instance, perhaps you might support Christian charities.

I'd pray about it more.

Again which part was inaccurate? That he put the tree in the Garden? or That he KNEW what choice Adam and Eve would make? He knew that and chose to go ahead with a plan that would condemn 90% of humanity to burn for all eternity in Hell.

The accusing God of evil part (not caring.)
