I thought of the sapphire being twofold so that the manna and staff are upheld with a strength of forgiveness.
Two slates each having having four surfaces with 5 commands engraved upon each.
While the (manna) has a form in a way similar to meat. An almond fruits is also known as meat.
While some have gathered wheat and ground the seeds to make bread.
There are few that see almonds, acorns and other like fruits worthy of bread.
And I wonder if others reading here have thought of bread before entering a Holy Place.
