• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Only god can judge. Many of these perpetrators were abused themselves.
Are you suggesting that God wants to do a work of redemption and restoration in the life of the "perpetrators"?

Romans 5:20b "where sin abounded, grace did much more abound" The Grace of God along with His Healing and Restoration HAS to be greater then the sin and the damage done. I question does the end justify the means? Is it really necessary for people to go through what they have to go through in order for God to do the work He wants to do in their life to Heal and Restore them?

So we know that whatever God allows, He is going to cause good to come out of this.

Are you suggesting that God wants to do a work of redemption and restoration in the life of the "perpetrators"?

Everyone has their own walk with God to deal with with---all sinners have their chance, no one can say they had no chance to know Him, even those who never heard the word Jesus has heard that inner voice directing them. All have sinned. In the eyes of God, sin is sin, nothing states that there are categories of sin and that one sin is worse than another. To me, child molesters are at the bottom of the barrel, right next to serial killers, to God He is a sinner. They all pay according to their works, so there is some kind of difference in how justice is meted out--certainly the sinner that is a thief of $5.00 should not be inflicted with the same amount of punishment that a serial killer has to endure. God is justice.. That is His call. Justice will be done.
No it is not necessary that anyone has to endure what we go through in order for God to work things out. But He does not prevent the sinner from the sin. The abuser makes a choice of what he is going to do. My father choose to do what he did to me. It was not God's wish--it took me years to see that. God will help us through the choices that sinners make on our lives, but He is not going to prevent them sinning. That is their choice and free will He will not interfere with. The truth of the matter is--even Hitler could have repented of his sins and turned to God. There still would have been consequences, but salvation was his to take--he obviously didn't, which is fine with me. The possibility that my father could have repented at the end if his life is there. And I have to be able to face the fact that I could meet him in heaven. That is his choice to make--God will turn no one away. There was that part of me that wished he never turned to God on his death bed--took awhile to get that out of me.

Actually, I do not even know what a child "molester" is. I just can not imagine that an adult would ever do anything to harm a child in anyway.

One perspective on this is that God allows us to see the consequences of when people make wrong choices to help us understand how important it is for us to make right choices in life.

I may think there has to be a better way but the program seems to be for us to learn that God's way is the best way for us to live our lives. We should keep His commandments as we grow in wisdom and strength.

My question is. What is the sexual attraction of an 8 year old girl?

It's not about attraction; it's about defilement. Pedophila and satanism run hand in hand, and its often used in cults as part of their Ritual Satanic Abuse.

Also, sexual assault is less about attraction and more about power and control, or so I've read.
That is only part of the truth. They do get off on the sexual aspect. That's just the sick truth of it. If you can stomach it, this video may give some insight on that.

Partly true... satanic ritual abuse (and MK) perps do often have an attraction to children.

It's not an easy read, but this is the testimony of ex-illuminati trainer (turned Christian) about "a day in the life of a trainer." You'll read how that one man who had undergone a tune-up in his programming was afterward given a child to spend time with because he was a pedophile and that was how he was comforted after the trauma of a reprogramming.

Really? You can't imagine it?!!! Well, I can --- have been able to imagine it since the age of 5, I can also imagine getting pregnant at the age of 12 and having an abortion---I'm so happy you can't imagine it for it is hell!! -And whether you believe it or not---it happens even to babies a few months old!! They are ruined for life so damaged they will never be able to have children'! That is the very real, sick, and horrible lengths that this human race has fallen to! Jesus needs to come soon. And by the way, over in Brazil, there is a girl, 5 years old that actually had a healthy baby, C-section!! You don't think it's possible? It very much is, you can look it up!! If your mind can take it.

Young people are not as wise as adults. Sex criminals exploit such youthful innocence and ignorance. Some adults literally rape children and the children don't report it or realize the offense. I would not be surprised if a child was raped but never told anyone about it in his or her lifetime. It's worse when the adult spreads disease to the child as well. Kids know very little about the dangers of sex. And little girls can be physically damaged if they are impregnated because their bodies haven't developed enough to safely bear and deliver children.

God saved my dad who had been a child abuser/molester and was one of my main abusers within SRA (satanic ritual) abuse and MK.
When I came to the Lord at age 13, He gave me a burden for my dad and showed my dad would be saved one day. Twenty-three yrs later, that came to pass when my dad have his heart to Jesus a few months before passing away.

Attraction to children is a perversion. Nobody with a healthy sexual outlook is going to understand it, and it's rather useless to say "I can't understand/imagine this, therefore it's not real." If you do any research or reading from abusers (which is treacherous territory and can leave you with a heavy heart so tread carefully), it's often either about being aroused by the position of power over a weaker being or about a past trauma of their own that leaves them unable to move on from their own childhoods, therefore children are the most appealing and attractive types of partners to them. I've heard many pedophiles say that they're attracted to the innocence, beauty, youth, purity, etc, of their victims, and they just like "being around children"; then, of course, since they're NOT children themselves and they have adult hormones and desires, that admiration becomes a sexual perversion. Others are aroused by the idea of destroying someone's innocence, taking away their purity, being "the first" to introduce them to sexuality.

Who knows what different people find sexually attractive?

My WH & I have a court order (which doesn't expire, like a restraining order) against a man who stalked and ultimately tried to take our older daughter when she was 2 years old. This man, who was about 45 at the time, was actually heard saying, "I can't wait until [D] is out of diapers so that I can marry her."

Also, sexual assault is less about attraction and more about power and control, or so I've read.

That is awful. I can't even imagine what you had to go through because of that.

My father was given to rage. He'd go into screaming diatribes at the drop of a hat. He hated everyone and was easily angered. He could work himself into a total rage remembering some incident that had happened over 30 years earlier! He'd be so furious he would call on Satan to enter into him! He never actively worshipped Satan, at least outwardly. He was so full of hate that he wanted Satan to enter him so he would have the power to get revenge on people. He would spend hours screaming---he lived to 81. I don't know how his heart took it for so long. And he knew his bible. He had, in his youth, wanted to be a preacher---he wanted to wear a white suit, he thought he looked good in one! He was very vain. His hatred of God was because he had lost an eye when young in an accident working, dynamiting mountains. He said God did it because he had threatened to kill his father in a rage. He apologized to him, but God took his eye anyway and it marred his looks. Though he had no scars, he did have a glass eye. I found him ugly, he thought everyone found him incredibly handsome. As far as I know, he never gave his heart to God. One brother was with him--he never said he was sorry about anything. I forgave him anyway, long before his death. He had taken my childhood, I refused to give him any more time. God healed my nightmares. I was able to picture him in my mind, being in heaven with God and being happy about it---though, at least outwardly, he never reconciled with God. I can not read his heart though.

Children aren’t sexually attractive. The people who desire them are morally depraved and delight in exploiting their innocence. Tainting is the thrill that drives them. It can’t be sated through adults to the same degree.
