It's impossible for America to have medicare for all and remain the protector of the world.

Socialism has no allowance for military. There will be nothing left to stand in the way of Communism.

The rich didn't get rich by giving their money to the government, they will leave, along with the jobs they create. Now Bernie or whoever has complete and total control of the people.

And we haven't even begun to implement the Green New Deal.

Oh boy, where can I sign up!
By the way, how is communism doing these days? Russia gave it up. China calls itself a communist country but it is really a single-party state with a market economy. Do we really need to abandon the idea of single-payer health care to afford the military might to stand up to countries like Laos?

Oh please! Protect the world?!!! Try exploit and oppress the world!
And all those tax breaks for the rich(which Trump claimed would pay for themselves) were given with no requirement whatsover to create jobs, much less jobs one could live on! Republicans led the whole world into the great recession under 8 years of Bush propping up the rich and the banks with their sub-prime loans, and increased the deficit. Obama pulled us out, cut the deficit in half. Now Trump again rides on Obama's wave, while proffiting the rich and has pushed the deficit into trillions while cutting social safety nets.
It is the rich we cannot afford!
Our taxes should go to the common good, not to profit the few.

That is a funny example, a real funny example. I worked for Nestle until my job was sent to the Philippines in 2018. But regarding the water, we drink Nestle Ice Mountain water; I just picked up 10 cases yesterday. We have to drink Nestle water, because the public water supply stinks of Sulphur and other chemicals. Somedays it just smells like blood and farts on other days it really reeks. The lead levels are high, but the city says is within the legal limits. We only find out about fecal coliform contamination AFTER they have lowered the levels and over chlorinate the water. Please tell me how socialism will fix the problem that it created.

Aryeh

Did Nestle paid your salary for 20 years .. or you worked free.. because according to OP you should have not get paid .. Nestle should have done all FREE .. including labor .. for common goods..

You know socialism sound all great .. until you are hungry!

And we already had the biggest military in the world, a military that harms the world!
And have you heard about Trump's nuclear submarine? The Bible says a third of the oceans will die!
And a space force?!!!
And you claim we cannot afford medcae for all?!!!
Get your priorities stra

Let Bernie take our military away and you will see communism in your face.

Our taxes should go to the common good; not to corporate welfare.
The question is not whether we need democratic socialism, the qesttion is if we should allow corporations to steal/privatize public resources, for pennies, and make millions/billions, as Nestle is doing with bottled water, water that God made for everyone...
The "right" absolutely believes in socialism, only it's socialism for the rich, not for the common good.

With all the success of socialism in the world, yea, let's do it.

Russia and China will straighten up and everything will be fine.

It is Trump who has repeatedly broken down envionmental regulations. Bernie wants a clean water act. And thanks for contributing more toxic plastic into the environment, and I say that with the utmost sarcasm

As if Trump cares about human rights abuses in China or Russia, or Saudi Arabia for that matter, or environmental abuses. PLEASE!

Russia is not a communist country; China is only pretending to be one.

They are draining the ground water and paying pennies for what should be a public resource, while making a fortune by screwing everyone over.

You think you have problems now, go ahead and adopt socialism.

You'll find problems you won't believe.

You have got to be joking!
I thought you were, suggesting that with the advent of single-payer health care our military might not be able to protect us against the armed might of countries like Laos or Cuba.
