All the talk is who can take down Trump.

What if he's not taken down?

Should we be concerned about what will take place?

Will the left take it beyond a few days of national protest?

Trump will remain in office - this is a fact at this point.

It is too late to be concerned; the collapse has already begun and destabilization happened decades ago in America. Trump, Obama, and Bush, etc. are consequences of the health of our republic - what they get away with is what we allow.

Trump is not the problem; we are. We would rather fight ourselves and nurture our prejudices instead of fighting actual "deep states" and real bogeymen in government - because we don't have the gall to stand up to them. And, if some of us decide to do it, the lot of us will allow them to be persecuted - and we will continue in the same degeneracy.

Throughout history, governments have only been able to do what the people allow them to do. If people think they deserve what we have now - if that is our ideal - then so be it. But, to expect more than degeneracy is to expect growth without change: we have been doing the same things for centuries. The politicians aren't to blame, they are just playing the game exactly how it is supposed to be played.

Only if the Democrats loose the House will they do that. By loosing the House it'll finally dawn on them THE PEOPLE have had enough of their rebellion against the President at all costs. If they ever hope to have an appeal again they're going to have to start showing they're putting the people's business first and not a longing just for power.
If Democrats loose the house. Trump can continue to break the law, with out anyone trying to hold him accountable. Trump already bullies, harasses and threatens people, that tells the truth about his bad acts. Every time, The ultra right Conservative Christian turn a blind eye to Trump , and defends his criminal behavior. The world is watching and having less respect for Christians. Also, just because Trump is a horrible man, doesn't mean the laws are allowing other people to break laws. Just like Trump does. So the world is progressing.

If the Democrats loose the HOUSE you can take it to be bank that most Americans believed they abused their power and ripped up their application at the ballot box to keep their jobs.

Americans might believe that, but that won't make it so.

Imagine Trump without worrying about his re-election anymore, imagine him bit older and even more rigid, petty and vengeful.

Apart from that being disaster for rest of the world , the extremes Trump apologetics will have to go to spin his disasters almost make it worthwhile to hope it actually happens.

Yeah, but you get to watch it happening from a safe distance. We have to go down with the ship.

I’d be more worried about him if he’s re-elected.

...Or his supporters, if he’s not.
I'll tell you what will happen. If he's not. His supporters will be upset. They will toss out warnings of the socialist agenda and how it will harm the country. And as the economy goes into a tailspin because everyone will be concerned about the government raising taxes, regulations increasing etc. We will tell everyone I told you so. We won't be demanding four year long investigations into everything the president does to try and remove him from office. We won't be harassing people eating dinner or assaulting them for wearing socialism is great hats. And will continue to separate ourselves from white supremacists and comdemn anything they might do instead of supporting their actions like the leftists do with groups like Antifa.

About half of them will. The other half will breath a sigh of resignation and make sure to lower the profile of their religious and political beliefs. LGBTs will just go back in the closet.

Oh no, the cats out of the bag now. LGBT won't be going anywhere. Trump has done nothing to harm them in any way.

Dream on. There are already calls for Democrats to be "hunted down" if Trump loses--from a clergyman.

But don't worry, Trump isn't going anywhere. Even if he doesn't win the election he's not going anywhere. The groundwork has already been done. A great deal of effort has been expended to convince Trump's base that the Mueller investigation was about nothing but "getting Trump" and since it didn't "get Trump" it's real findings--that Russia attempted to interfere in the 2016 election--can be swept under the carpet. An alternate narrative is being constructed that it was really Ukraine which attempted to interfere in the election--in support of Hillary--not Russia in support of Trump . That's what Rudy has been working on. In the meantime, the Senate has stonewalled any legislation intended to increase our election security. So if Trump doesn't get the votes, he can claim the election was rigged and he doesn't have to step down--he can declare martial law and stay right where he is. And as long as he stays true to the political agenda of the Christian Right his base will cheer him on for it.

Nope. All he has to do is stand back and let his supporters take care of it. And his judicial appointees. Things will go back to the way they were fifty-sixty years ago. It will be harder for LGBTs to get and keep jobs, find housing, it will be easier to beat them up and get away with it, just like it used to be.

And it will all be blamed on Democrats whoever perpetrates it, either for causing it or deserving it.

If white supremacists commit violence those of us on the right don't blame the left for it. We condemn them and wish they would go away. The right by the vast majority 99% don't tell anyone they need to understand.

When the left commits violence the left always excuses it and blames it on the right. The left is always by and large saying how we have to understand.

Should be interesting to see how far he will go with his power. If he gets too out of control , I predict Republicans will impeach him the second time around to save the party with Pence.

I don't know what kind of power you think he has, but he's not a king or some sort of dictator. Good grief:sigh:

You don't actually believe this dude do you? He's a loon. Let me ask you. Is Louis Farrakh a representative of you? Dies he represent your thoughts? What do you have to say about him?

And bybtye way, it has been proven that Russia and Ukraine were involved in trying to influence the election. Why is it the Dems are so concerned with Russia now? Where have the serious investigations been before now? Russia has been doing this for years. Where has the cry and outrage been? Why did the Dems Waite until Trump got elected to decide something needed to be done about Russia?

You have a lot of conspiracy theories. I guess we'll see what happens.

So far, TrumpFans and TrumpCo have been batting close to zero when it comes to the accuracy of their economic predictions: the tax cut didn't generate more revenue; gdp growth has been much slower than predicted and right about in line with what Obama said was our "new normal"; tariffs haven't helped our manufacturing base or the economy as a whole; etc. Why would your predictions suddenly start being so accurate?

We won't be demanding four year long investigations into everything the president does to try and remove him from office.

Really? Because that's what you guys tried during Obama. You guys even ran with a racist conspiracy theory about how he wasn't even eligible to be president in the first place. How many Benghazi hearings were there?

We won't be harassing people eating dinner or assaulting them for wearing socialism is great hats.

Yes, you will.

Stephen Miller still works in the White House.

No, plenty of folks on the right do exactly that. Take the case of blaming the Charlottesville killing on Antifa:

In the first place, you cannot start calling "you guys" when the people you are referring to were relatively few.

In the second place, the Constitutional requirement that a president be born in the USA has nothing to do with race. Yes, I know that it has to be worked into any commentary that deals with Trump, but this is now gone to absurd limits.

Birthers were "relatively few"? No, they weren't. Your own president was one of the biggest pushers of it, along with many folks at Fox news and some in congress. It was widespread.

In the second place, the Constitutional requirement that a president be born in the USA has nothing to do with race.

The requirement has nothing to do with race. The allegation that Obama didn't meet that requirement absolutely did have to do with race.[/URL]
