In the last coupla months we've had drought, fire, flood and plague (Corona virus).

Thank you God.
Whilst there are still fires going in Victoria and NSW the major one in NSW that has burned for months has been declared out!
The firefighters had said the only thing that would put it out would be rain and that seemed so unlikely to happen....
Its wonderful, praise God and all who have prayed.

If you attribute the rain to God, to whom do you attribute the death and destruction caused by the drought and the bushfires?

Lightning is natural, drought is natural - so how are they different to flooding rain?

If rain causes floods which result in death and destruction, will you also attribute this to God?

Just shows to go that prayers seem to take about 6 months to get answered in human time but could be milliseconds in upper management time.

Sorry I put you on the spot @Heavenhome. I've never understood how Christians decide what God is responsible for vs what He isn't responsible for or if He is responsible for everything or nothing.

Perhaps I should take my questions to a theological type Forum.

For real. Stop trying to give her crap, @Occams Barber . It's obvious you are just seeking a reason to malign God and make people feel bad for their faith in Him. Heavenhome hasn't been judging or hateful in any way, so this has been completely uncalled for.

I see. It is good to see that you said you are sorry.

It appeared you were picking on her in the way that I have seen a few atheists try to do to Christians who were trying to put God forth in a good and loving light (thus I believe the attack to be unjust - believe me, I have a far bigger pet peeve with Christians who act self-righteously and judgmental towards atheists, and who appear to love the hateful concept of so-called "divine" punishment and torture - and I reacted. So I am sorry, too.

Thank you, that's OK. I'm just tired sometimes of having to justify every word when the topic is not specifically a theological one.
Especially since when all is said and done it is Christian forums.

Anyway if you have valid questions there are some good places to post here.
The Theological forum would be a good place to start.
