I lived in Switzerland for 8 wonderful months quite a long time ago - and I enjoyed every single moment. I went back on holiday a few times too
It looks beautiful there from what I have seen.

After I left School and before I started Nursing training - so I lived with a French [ not Swiss ] family and helped look after their children - had lots of free time so learned my way round Geneva

So who are the fascist? Remember for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

I was listening to Spec Op Navy Seal being interviewed and he was speaking to the divisiveness happening in the US. He spoke of how both sides have no idea of what the effects of violence do to a person.

He further mentioned how he and others are sitting on the sidelines and if the time comes they will step in. We need to be careful.

free speech is the cornerstone of a free society.

Again I am reminded that I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to step outside the borders of the United States. It's not perfect here, but at least I have the right to think, say, and believe what I please. And (so far) I also have the right to defend that right from all forms and all levels of tyranny.

I realize that makes me a nasty, bigoted, violent, ugly redneck (if you subscribe to the viewpoint of the New Left), but that's just too bad, isn't it? I will be the first one to admit that I'm a suspicious old veteran with a low tolerance point for nonsense.....can't help it; combat put a stamp on me that I can't get rid of.
