I have seen the terminally ill healed...
Yes. Miracles generally have a point or at least produce something that's appealing to the onlooker. What could it be in the case of a Bible dripping gallons of oil?

Whilst we are surely living in the last days,
I am firstly incredulous and then saddened that anyone would believe this sort of thing.
When Jesus performed miracles it was to help others and point them to repentance and faith in God.
And it was to unbelievers.

A dripping Bible or other such manifestation is a deception at best.

Post 5 says it well and is enough for me.

If the bible dripped 17 gallons of oil daily, it is obvious that the oil is needed. But since they don't need it, and don't know what to do with it, it has become a major hindrance.
Why would God waste such a gift on those who don't know what to do with it?
Why boast of God about something, that confounds, even the believers?

I dont have a problem with anything Jesus does, what I have a problem with are people who refuse to discern between the satanic and the Godly...

Where in scripture is this godly? You'll find this no where in scripture.

Joel was fulfilled in the life and death of Christ and the outpouring Holy Spirit displayed in Acts...

If you recall, at the death of Jesus there were earthquakes (Matthew 27:51), and graves opened up and the dead walked (Matthew 27:52) then we had the outpouring Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4)

Yet, today you've got "oh, some bible somewhere is dripping oil and wow, this is God!" ?Really?!?

That's more like finding a charlatan willing to sell you an idol for your very own.

I have a living Christ who is a daily reality for me, I have no need of falsehoods.

@Heavenhome Now that we have the complete revealed Word of God, we don't need more signs and wonders to confirm the message of the Gospel - as happened in Apostolic days when the church was new and when the Scriptures was not yet complete.

That is very much what the Evangelists of the Worldwide Church of God would probably have taught in the late 1980's if this miracle had came up at that time!

I've gone off in a very different direction since then:

An apology from a former member of the Worldwide Church of God

Elisha made an ax head float so it could be returned, but people see stuff like this and instantly imply something evil about it. If it isn’t a hoax (I really hope it isn’t) then how exactly is it leading people astray?

Because they begin putting faith in something other than the finished work of Christ..

These people are either selling this oil or giving it away, and people are placing faith in something they can touch, instead of in Christ.

Were the Apostles giving away cloth or oil and telling people that it would do something for them? Or were they encouraging people and teaching them to place their faith in Christ alone?

Point to scripture and tell me where the Apostles were selling trinkets to the faithful...

You described a purpose for Elisha's axe to float. There is nothing comparable with the Bible gushing oil.

Elisha and the jars of oil, is that evil too? They can’t be generous or something with the oil and give it away?

Thank you for replying but I've researched this quite a bit already and I am convinced that this is real. Pastor Johnny and Pastor Jerry recently asked their friend Dr. Kevin Zadai what to do........... because they are up to seventeen gallons daily!

If it's 10W30 I could use 5 quarts for my car.

Paul anointed relics in Acts 19

He didn't "anoint" relics, the power of God's Holy Spirit was such a presence in him that even a handkerchief that touched him could be taken to a sick person and they would be healed.

Can you show me actual proof that this is what is occurring?

People need to trust in God, not magic oil.

Paul spoke of Gods Kingdom and the redeeming power of Christ. He had the power of God's Holy Spirit in Him and the power to cast out demons and heal the sick in order to show the evidence of His words, when he spoke of the power of Christ for salvation..
