Perhaps your addiction is a solution you created over some stress you have.
If you wish, create a new solution to your problem. The new solution
is what makes the old solution go away. Prayer always helps you find
the better solutions you desire.

God will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can stand.
God always makes a way to escape sin.
I pray you see the path God has given you to follow in Jesus Name.

I will definitely pray for you. inappropriate content is definitely an addiction just as alcohol is an addiction. In Alanon you have a sponsor to all when you feel the urge to drink. With inappropriate content it's very important to find an accountability partner you can talk to when you have that urge. Also like an alcoholic has to remove all alcohol from their presence. You need to remove all access to inappropriate content from your presence. Praying that you be freed of this inappropriate content addiction Jags. Humble yourself before God and call on him for mercy & forgiveness that you may be washed clean by the blood of Christ and healed & restored. God be with you!

Praying for your freedom, for life. You might want to check out the book Every Man's Battle and the website related to that. have seen people on this forum saying it really helped them. I wonder if there are some accountability groups online for you. If not maybe you could start one!

P.S. Just like with alcoholism or drug use, sometimes inappropriate content addiction starts as a way to distract from some kind of pain in the life, maybe from childhood. I pray that if such is the case for you, that you will get healing.
