Buttigieg says a lot of things that are false.
Generally speaking, this is the kind of thing that will catch up to the candidate in time.

Many other 'new faces' on the presidential trail in other years looked good at first but, after awhile their records and their every statement came to be scrutinized more closely and burst that bubble.

I give him the benefit of the doubt on this one because he has no experience tackling abortion and babies with severe health problems. This is the first time he is running for a partisan elected office.

So what if 80% of babies are not disabled - that means 20% do enter the world with major health issues. And although it is immoral to prevent disabled babies from being born for selfish reasons, there are times when doing so would make perfect sense if you consider the mother's POV (even if you think it is wrong).
