Great explanation for the Mark of the Beast...

The explanation for the Mark of the Beast that is given in the first few moments of this sermon impresses me as being quite brilliant and........ something of a relief as well.

The idea is mixing human DNA with DNA from other creatures to ensure longevity combined with health but..... there are serious spiritual consequences for taking this alteration.

The Book of Jasher that is available at this time hints at this possibility.

Book of Jasher, Chapter 4

16 And all the sons of men departed from the ways of the Lord in those days as they multiplied upon the face of the earth with sons and daughters, and they taught one another their evil practices and they continued sinning against the Lord.

17 And every man made unto himself a god, and they robbed and plundered every man his neighbor as well as his relative, and they corrupted the earth, and the earth was filled with violence.

18 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord; and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals

The gist of the video is that the mark of the beast will be genetic manipulation, possibly using reptilian dna, to ensure long life. With altered genetics you are no longer 'human' and thus unsaveable.

Yes... this idea sure seems to fit with:

Genesis 6

"That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose."

And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

And with the Book of Enoch that is predicted to go out of common use...... and then later on become commonly used again in the Latter Days.

All I know is that the one that I read seemed to be written by somebody who sure knew their ancient traditions surrounding events in the Jewish Bible. The details that they added sounded logical and were inspiring and answered many of my own questions.

I read the book myself. It seemed plausible; but I did my homework before I went citing it. A speaker at my old Messianic Congregation referenced it. His whole speech was about the book and quotes from it. I raised my hand; and I asked him the same three questions that I asked you. He said that he would talk to me about it after the service. The service was being broadcast; so I met him after service. He asked if i could prove my assertions. I told him to WIKI it. He asked me to print it out for him instead. I printed out all three WIKI references in full. I still have them on my hard drive. They were a bit longer back then. They've been revised. Anyway, next week I went to him, first thing, before services started. I looked over the WIKI articles with him. He had to agree with my assertions; but to my surprise, he never retracted his statements.

I lost a lot of respect for him after that. If I had made such a mistake; I'd be working tirelessly to get that genie back in the bottle. I tell everyone, who I told, to tell anyone who they told, and anyone who they told; to make sure that they told them that I was mistaken.

Someone publishes a lie back in 1751; and the deception still continues today.

All that I know is that the book is old and I am kind of impressed even if it was back in 1751 that somebody could write up an explanation for human cloning that would make no sense until the last couple of decades!

Whoever wrote it...... and whenever it was written..... it gives rather inspiring answers on the possible situations surrounding events in the Jewish Bible.

Reading even a flawed Book of Jasher would obviously be more beneficial to somebody than the latest Vampire novel! (And for the record I am guilty of reading some Vampire novels...... many years ago)!

Well we have the word of God..bible. And Jasher is what said only twice in the word. And Jesher.. which one we talking about? Has a few different titles. Then all don't read the same. Well the book of Jesher is not the one spoken of twice in the OT. And if you dig more you find the "history" in the bible is not the same as in Jasher. Reads like the word yet.. has many things written that are not in the bible.

I disagree from the start (video) . That "the mark of the beast is genetic alteration". Not saying is not true its just not written. All that is is speculation. So when speculating which and be fun.. yet you can go anywhere with it.

Good points....... but here is our situation. I am a janitor in a school in the high school section and the amount of money that has been spent providing the kids with lots and lots of books on Vampires, Zombies and Witches is amazing.............. and making some effort to compete with all of this is one aspect of the whole formula so.......

I do like the idea of not discouraging people from reading
The Book of Enoch.

and some near death experience accounts and maybe even throw in some C. S. Lewis or even some Rick Joyner........
because when I was a teenager I read two or three or four books in a week and it is really good to know that there is material out there that actually gives us an alternative to the occult stuff that our kids are being hit with.

The Book of Jasher is quite brilliantly done...... whoever wrote it and whenever they wrote it.......

I am also truly glad that I read chapter five of Saved By The Light by near death experiencer Dannion Brinkley:

I have to admit that the fact that I am Canadian is relevant because during much of our year..... we Canadians have trouble thinking of something to do other than reading another book..... or two.... .or three????
