Hey Michie.. HI! You know.. I lol am old enough to be around before Clinton but. I don't know anything about Nancy. I did see where she had started to tear those papers WAY before the end of president Trumps speech. Whats hard some times is when we read "love believes all things"

To take them at there word when.. seems everything around that person clearly shoes something else. To be at the prayer breakfast knowing the President would be speaking. From the out side looking in all some at times childish on both sides. YET that world they are in.. its about this nation and this world.

Lol.. when my mom was alive.. at one point she would not talk to me for over year. It was only when I wrote a letter with no return name on it.. all about love.. and time and forgiveness. Did she call. Someone had to bend.. so I did. One could THINK they could get past them selfs and .. lol amen "huge egos"

Hi Blade! A miracle may happen at some point but I do not see it anytime soon with these people. It would be super inspiring if they did though.

Let me check Twitter for your “whataboutism.” ;)
hmmm...isn't the thread about prayer, Speaker Pelosi and President Trump? If this was an example of "whataboutism" wouldn't I have to bring up an unrelated subject to try and distract from the the threads OP? And I kind of thought this question was totally in line with the OP.
tulc(just thought that should be pointed out)

Maybe it would be more impressive for some people if she advised her supporters to beat up anyone who protests her or maybe she should refer to her political opponents as human scum because they don't support her. Maybe she should add cussing to her speeches and quote from Two Corinthians.

No need. She has lieutenants to do all of that for her.

Did Trump quote 2 Corinthians 11:14??

I feel about Trump the same way I feel about a friend of mine (well, that's a terrible comparison, but...). With some people I appreciate the fact that I'm seeing the real them and I know they're not hiding anything behind a mask. With other people, they spend so much time maintaining their image and you never really know what kind of a person they are inside.

For example, a friend of mine swears a lot, and I don't like swearing at all. He also sometimes talks about women in a way which is not, let's say, politically correct. Yet because he's comfortable being himself I at least know I'm seeing the real him and I appreciate that. There is room for improvement, for sure, but being able to see the real man and know where he's coming from is a huge help. So, like Pelosi, we should pray for Trump and for his areas that need growth. Whether our prayers or Pelosi's arethe most authentic (or even happen) only God knows ultimately.

Trump understands how to use prayer for photo ops that will appeal to his base. Her statement is supported by numerous statements of his. I appreciate her prayer for Trump.
Not really. Of all the people on the political scene, Trump is about the only one who, when commenting on religion, is not posturing as if he or she is the model of what a Christian ought to be. It sure isn't Romney. And it sure isn't Pelosi. Or Kasich. Or Mayor Pete. And I could go on.
