Don't know, but considering how many people are looking through various aspects of the concept, I'm sure you could find your answer.

I thought you were the one with all the answers. I mean, you did say that you aren't a fool like everyone else.

Funny thing about the various flat earth maps, they are still closer to reality than any globe. Sure, there are are contradicting ideas out there, but that's because we are not some blinded cult, as being discussed here. It's just a large and ever growing number of people from all over who finally realized we've been lied to for centuries, and we are all trying to figure our world out for real. Differing ideals are inevitable.
Lemme guess, you don't think we went to the moon, either?

So does a ball earth. In fact, evolution itself thrives only on a ball earth. The ball earth is the foundational lie that makes the lies of evolution, aliens, and trans-humanism possible.

It's both funny and pathetic that you all are arguing flat earth as if it's a cult. I keep saying you all need to take a look at the actual flat earth concept, because none of you understand it at all. Anyone who thinks the video in the OP 'takes down' flat earth is still not understanding what they are arguing against. 'Professor' Dave built a straw man, nothing more.

A flat Earth map does not work at all. When you attempt to work out distances between specific places, travel times etc it fails so abysmally that FEers have to fall back on idiotic conspiracies.

Right because they are such a LARGE powerful group.
They're wrapped up into the religious alt right cult.

The US has more cults than any other country,
If you say so.

I don't see anyone taking on the Scientologists
Than you haven't been paying attention.

Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath - Wikipedia

or alien cults on here.
I don't know what "alien cults" are.

So it seems flat earth is a bit of a thorn.
Also seems I've struck a nerve.

Makes me wonder why. Do you see them as a threat? Perhaps you secretly think they have a point?
Perhaps you secretly know FE is ridiculous.

I simply don't understand how anyone could believe in a flat Earth in 2020. That's just bizarre.

Haven't they ever tuned into any live NASA video from the space station in orbit around the Earth? Is every space fairing country and profit oriented company on planet Earth in on the same conspiracy?

They think it’s all fake.

How it’s all fake, well, they tend to be low on explanations. They’ll be quick to tell you how dumb you are for not seeing it, though.

Is every space fairing country and profit oriented company on planet Earth in on the same conspiracy?

Seems to be what they think, yeah. Again, don’t ask how that works.

I researched this a bit once. It seems that it is a combination of a psychological condition and a weird byproduct of social media and trending news algorithms. In other words, it gets clicks.

You've got to love how he keeps saying that all of our criticisms are ignorant and ill-founded because we don't know anything about the real flat earth model that all of these FE 'researchers' use, but then when asked simple questions about it, he just says he doesn't know.

Maybe the reason none of the arguments are properly addressing the 'real' FE model is because there isn't one?

I don't even grasp how a flat earth proponent could explain why it's daylight on the other side of the planet (China) when it's the middle of the night on this side of the planet (California). How does that work? Wouldn't it necessarily have to be "dark" everywhere at the same time on a flat disk, at least for some period of time? It seems like a simple internet enabled camera "test" would blow the flat earth model out of the water.

https://www.webcamtaxi.com/en/china/hubei-province/wuhan-leishenshan-hospital.html
https://www.webcamtaxi.com/en/russia/saint-petersburg/prospekt-nauki.html
https://www.webcamtaxi.com/en/usa/california/san-diego-mission-beach-boardwalk.html

The whole concept of a worldwide conspiracy sounds utterly preposterous. Who even seriously promotes that model?

Actually I did provide some refutation, which was immediately dismissed, as every time before. There is no practical reason for anyone to attempt to refute all this ball earth nonsense spewed forth across this forum. On the plus side, sometimes watching you all yammer away on the topic can be quite entertaining.
Here's a post where an argument was simply dismissed, not rebutted.
It's ignorance like yours that keeps this topic alive and people like you completely blind.
Who posted that dismissal? Why, none other than SeventyOne. Of course, on Flat Earth that counts as rebuttal of an argument. An actual demonstration of the errors I made in my criticism of the failed experiment is not required because we're all too stupid to understand. Admittedly your post I quoted above is not a dismissal of my criticisms of the failed experiment. But you haven't responded to those posts, just ignored them and handwaved them away, so I have nothing to quote.

When one's premise is built on the foundation that others are ignorant or lying there is reason for concern and skepticism.

And it's always those with the least amount of education and training that knows everyone else is wrong or lying.

I'd love to hear SeventyOne explain why those three live webcam links that I cited never show that it's daylight or nighttime in all three cameras at the same time.
I've yet to see him actually explain anything except that we are ignorant.

The sun is a small ball that flies over the disc and works like a flashlight so it only illuminates some parts of the earth at a time. And when it appears to set beneath the horizon, it's actually just moving too far away to see, which naturally causes complete darkness.

No, really, that's their explanation.

Except you won't. One aspect of the Flat Earth movement is a complete lack of any experts in any field who support FE.

The UN and WHO both use the most accepted flat earth map as their logo, but I'm sure they aren't mocking you in plain sight.

This response only reinforces everything I've been saying.

1) You're implying the UN and/or WHO is part of some sort of FE conspiracy. Which is all FE really is, just another conspiracy theory.

2) Your best example of FE application is a logo. If that's the best you can come up with, that's really sad.

3) The claim that the UN logo is based on FE isn't even true to begin with. You can read more about the logo here: UN Logo and Flag

4) Your claim that "Funny thing about the various flat earth maps, they are still closer to reality than any globe" is still completely invalidated by the lack of FE cartography industry. If your claim was true, FE would be a self-funded industry in the billions of dollars. So why isn't it? Why is FE little more than a fringe conspiracy theory?
