Just wondering if I could get some comfort

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles, about how tough life has been for you! However, since you are a Christian, "hanging on"/trusting God (Proverbs 3:5-6; Matthew 6:33) to see you through these times is what you need to continue to do. After all, He promised us that He will cause ~all~ things, both good and bad, to work together for our good (because He is our loving Father, and we are His children) .. Romans 8:28.

Concerning (in part) the promise that God made to us in v28 above, Pastor Charles Spurgeon once said:

In which area do you struggle? You see, those who struggle in life are the most blessed. I used to grumble a lot about my struggles until I read scripture over and over again which led to me gaining understanding, knowledge and wisdom about my situation. Read the beatitudes in Matthew 5.

The Beatitudes
He said:

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:3-12

God is willing to care for you if you are willing to trust Him with your cares.

Weird as it may sound, struggling can be blessings in disguise because it brings us close to God by keeping us reliant on Him. Whereas, who knows, if we didnt struggle, we may become self reliant and prideful in ourselves?
Not that at the time our struggles feel good, but be of good courage!

We have a Saviour who knows our struggles better than anyone else ever could.

Look at what He endured: for us.
May He hold you ever close.

Cling tight to those changes
and thank the Holy Spirit for them
the refining process can be a rough ride
but, leads us in the right direction.

We are all born that way. We can only accept change in our response to our condition though faith in God.
