Trump comes over as a fraudulent charlatan of the worst sort. If Christianity is supposed to stand for decency and morality, how on earth can Christians give the man their support? If Jesus was anything like the gospels claimed he was, I doubt he would have supported Trump.

As Christians, we don't look for world leaders for moral guidance. Every president and those in government are sinful. We try to support someone who will do the better job. Although Trump is hardly the type of person any true Christian would look to for moral understanding, he has encouraged religious freedom, is anti-abortion and pro-Israel---issues that are or should be important to Christians.
That said, Christians who believe that Trump is a "savior" are mislead. And if you place any political ideology equal to your faith in Christ, you are taking a risk.
My wife and I are both Christians and she is a "never Trumper". I am a "sometimes Trumper". I will defend him if he is accused of something he didn't do or say, as I have Barack Obama and Al Gore.
This is why I have no Liberal or Conservative friends since I don't embrace any one political ideology.

He's done what he knows will appeal to a conservative Christian base that will choose the lesser of 2 evils because they'd rather have the pretense of religious freedom rather than whatever greater evils they imagine under the opposition based on political spin

Not sure Christians should make political issues their reasoning for voting for someone if they believe 1) God is sovereign and would put whoever it wants in office and 2) that the end times are supposedly at hand with all the evil and sinning that's going on, even though that's been an opinion of Christians for most of its history

The notion of a "better" job in terms of a world already condemned to destruction and recreation in God's perfect image by general eschatology seems to miss the point in a manner

How anyone can actually like Trump goodness only knows.
Because they appreciate someone being willing to just say what's on their mind, since apparently having a filter is a hindrance in terms of charisma.

I doubt it, he will say anything his supporters want to hear, imo.

Actions always speak louder than words to people.

We've had a plethora of politicians in my life who gave beautiful appearances and did all the right things in life, but once in office did absolutely nothing that they said they would do.

In Trump there's certainly no appearances, but there is far more action, even with opposition on all sides trying to prevent that action... and it's action people expect after politicians run for office on a promise of it.

Trump comes over as a fraudulent charlatan of the worst sort.
Poverty is plummeting, crime is falling, confidence is surging, our country is thriving, & highly respected again. America’s enemies are on the run, fortunes on the rise, our future is blazing bright. Our years of economic decay are over. Being used, abused & taken advantage of are long gone and behind us. Gone are the broken promises, endless excuses, and the depletion of our wealth. We are going forward and never going back. We have the lowest unemployment rate in history. The lowest number of people in poverty ever. Even high school drop outs and vets have the lowest unemployment rate ever. This is a blue collar boom - low income workers have seen a 16% increase. My wife has seen a 25% increase in her wages. We are now the biggest producer of gas and oil in the world and no longer dependant on other countries. We have a record number of factories. Which is what my son does for a living. He is a computer engineer and can work most anywhere to set up the factory and assembly line. The grip of tyranny has been broken and we are done with failed government, failed leadership and failed policies. If anyone wants to try to take away what we have we have a 2.2 Trillion dollar military to stop them that has long been respected around the world.

The worlds gone soft, Trumps rough around the edges and they can't handle it but he says what's on his mind, puts it out there in no uncertain terms then acts on it. Some of you folks need to go cuddle your teddy bears till it's done with cause you probably have another four years coming your way after the next election.

A very serious answer - He is against abortion and for Israel.
Is he REALLY against abortion or for Israel himself or just for the presidential campaign and pretense of being as such when he's demonstrably been a Democrat for far longer?

So we're just going to parrot the same notion that you're totally "radical" and "nonconformist", but ultimately encourage people to conform to your expectations or get out, the signs of an immature person that isn't willing to actually engage with the possibility they might be wrong and buy into the ramblings of a charismatic sociopath?

And he totally hasn't talked out both sides of his mouth and contradicted himself in terms of policies, nope...
