Mormon teachings contradict the Bible.
People who read their Bibles with the aid of the Holy Spirit know the differences.
Mormonism:
Jesus' atonement provided immortality for all people. Exaltation (godhood) is available only to Mormons through obedience to LDS teachings: faith, baptism, endowments, celestial marriage, and tithing. "Wherefore, as it is written, they are gods, even the sons of God-Wherefore, all things are theirs" (D&C, 76:58-59).
Telestial Kingdom is for the wicked and ungodly (not hell); "These are they who are liars, and sorcerers, and adulterers . . . who suffer the wrath of God on earth"(
D&C 76:103-104). (See also D&C 76:57-119; 131:1-4.)
Yet the Book of Mormon says:
Mosiah 5
8 And under this head ye are made
free, and there is
no other head whereby ye can be made free. There is no other
name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should
take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives.
9 And it shall come to pass that whosoever doeth this shall be found at the right hand of God, for he shall know the name by which he is called; for he shall be called by the name of Christ.
10 And now it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall not take upon him the name of Christ must be called by some other name; therefore, he findeth himself on the left hand of God.
"What are some blessings of having the name of Jesus Christ written in our hearts?
"What can cause the name to be 'blotted out' of your heart or someone’s heart?"
Unit 11: Day 4, Mosiah 5–6
Mosiah 5:8
"We see that we take upon us the name of Christ when we are baptized in his name, when we belong to his Church and profess our belief in him, and do the work of his kingdom....
"There are other meanings as well, deeper meanings that the more mature members of the Church should understand and ponder as he or she partakes of the sacrament.
"It is significant that when we partake of the sacrament we do not witness that that we take upon us the name of Jesus Christ. We witness that we are willing to do so. The fact that we only witness to our willingness suggests that something else must happen before we actually take that sacred name upon us in the most important sense."

Mormonism reminds me of a hampster wheel.
