Graphic novels/comics recommendations?

I only read Watchmen which is an intriguing graphic novel. It was recommended to me by an atheist acquaintance. I was quite surprised by some of the ideas the author raised . Agree or disagree with the concepts raised, it still was interesting. Didn’t expect that from a comic book .
