Let me check. Does this ever come up?

Romans 13:1-7
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

This one perhaps briefly:

Matthew 7:12
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them,
for this is the Law and the Prophets.

I'll bet not this one:

1 Timothy 5:8
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

All of those come up during scripture readings.

Remember/recall Jesus as Judge on Judgment Day, as Written,
and no liars, no one greedy, no one committing adultery or homosexuality will be found in heaven ? ?
I don't recall Jesus teaching those things as His foundation.
No? Didn't think so (from long history of your posts contrary to both Jesus and Paul) ....

Perhaps how to recognise and remove the accuser of the brethren from services , chat rooms and forums ?

1) I don't think the theme of the Christian Life as a Spiritual Journey is covered enough (and that is what I will be writing or talking about if I ever do an online ministry podcast/ blog etc. ). That is an important Biblical theme, even Christianity before it was called Christianity in Antioch was called "the Way", before that. This meta theme has a lot of important sub themes. Some of them like "having a relationship with Jesus" are often covered, but some issues like boredom, people having trouble dealing with the passage of time etc, can be important issues. e.g. to use King David was an example his biggest problem came when he had too much spare time on his hands as far as falling into temptation with Bathsheba. Besides that many people have issues with the notion of vocation or "What is God's will for my life", and other similar kinds of questions regarding Spiritual direction and so on.

Well that is my first answer, I've got a few more to write about.

They seem a little short on preaching the certitude of fulfilment of God's plan to save the whole world. Also not many cover Biblical cosmology, as in the flat motionless and domed earth. And not much effort into exposing the devil's lies.

Scandalous doctrines I know, which have nothing going for them but the truth.

"the" churches ?

While the church can be referred to as singular (as in reference to the bride of Christ or the body of Christ), the Bible does use the word “churches” in the sense of different fellowships or groups of believers within a certain locale and or in reference to their spiritual maturity.

See this link here at blue letter Bible.

Others like these: Having the form of Godliness but denying the power thereof ?
May have great wonderful 'true' teachings daily, but with no power ?
So, maybe instead, who is making disciples ? With daily righteousness, peace and joy.....

I believe we are living in the last days as per 2 Timothy 3:1-9. This indeed needs to be preached but with the focus on loving everyone (i.e. Hate the sin, but love the sinner).

It is likely that even if this question is asked , posted, re-posted, on all the forums, all the sites, and asked in all the churches for 7 weeks, that not even one man in a thousand would know the first important truth that was lost in the first three centuries.... (maybe we'll see...?) It is all the more difficult, because the current teachings/ groups/ have taught the opposite for so long....

We need to teach more on loving our enemies. We need to teach on how to apply the two greatest commandments to our lives.

We need teach how to apply a Romans 12:1 kind of service to the Lord.

I know this is a general question from the OP and for sure there is MUCH truth of God not being taught in the churches, or at least the ones I’ve gone to. For example: Revelation. I’ve never gone to a church where that book is preached/taught.
However I have found a few that do tackle this blessing online; YouTube.

Much of what I have been taught locally have been either watered down or just not the truth.

I think it’s more of a question of are WE doing a Bible study on our own or with a group rather than pointing at another to blame?

Doing a Bible study on my own is difficult because I don’t know what I’m doing half the time, but God does show me where to go and sometimes gives me clear revelation on something. I’m thankful for Him doing that and I’d like to share these moments with others as well. :yellowheart:

2) Kenosis namely the notion that suffering in the Christian life can be redemptive and that this is often ordained by God for the perfecting of our souls. Quite often suffering is only preached that it is something that happens because of the Devils' schemes, our own sin, or the sin of the World, but there is more to suffering than just those themes. And it important to accept Kenosis because some people think you can always get rid of suffering via prayer, fasting, confessing sins etc. and sometimes the suffering remains and people are then tempted to get bitter, resentful etc.

Teaching to read the Bible in context is also a neglected thing these days, as well.

I also think every sermon should have some kind of life application for our lives, too. We can know something in the Bible, but if it is not applied to our lives, it is just head knowledge.

When Yahweh painfully scourges one of His children (sons), is this considered "redemptive suffering" ?

The "reference" (I corrected the misspelling), The reference you posted without posting the words - could you post it out , in whatever translation you use or is good to use. The references do not render on the screen ....

But this needs to balanced with the good things of God so as not to lead to despair. The love of God, the fruits of the Spirit, God’s blessings, and Kingdom rewards.
