Yeah, when that king cast those men into a large furnace and it did them no harm but killed the guards.

God spoke to me in a dream once when I was around 8 years old. He was explaining to me the expanding and shrinking (contracting) universe. I was not on the earth at the time, I was out in the universe. Usually when He has a message for us He will send an angel. Many times He wanted me to know that He is a God of absolute and perfect Justice. We see this in the universe in how fine tuned and balanced all the laws are that regulate the universe. There is a lot of precision. I have a friend that is a machinist and he works within a tolerance of a millionth. He runs a 3 million dollar machine and they have three robots hooked up to his machine. Business is great and they are talking about setting up more of these machines and training more people to run them. So if man can produce that degree of accuracy, how much more is God able to be accurate and precise in all that HE does?

The Holy Spirit lives in me and communicates with the Father on my behalf. Angels are not intermediaries between me and God, the scriptures indicate we have an audience with the father through the son, not through angels or some priest or church tradition.

That’s so difficult! It’s so hard to see thorns like this as gifts from God. Tim Keller once said that God will give us everything we would ask for if we knew what he knew. He supported the idea with scripture, God will work all things for our good. I pray you have peace and joy and healing, but even if God does not provide physical healing, he promises you that joy in this life, not just in the next!!!

Kevin, as i think on this, i realize that God has His own unique way of teaching each of us individually, like He did with Gideon and the fleece.....i love that account of God's patience with Gideon (i can relate to Gideon) and i realize that sometimes we need to just sit at Jesus' feet like Mary did and just be still there and put all else aside and just focus on Him and what He's teaching us (through His Word) and "be still" and "know that He is God", like this verse that i love so much:

"Be still, and know that I am God:" ~Ps 46:10

True, but it's appointed to man to die and after that the judgement. If my dad did not receive Christ then he faces God as his Judge. I don't know. Intellectual can also be substantial --it makes more sense to me that God should exist than that I should exist. Yet, here I am.

I know God exists because of the many miracles which our Father has done in my life. I have heard God's voice, had visions, have had healings, etc...

I've heard it before many times, but the rejection of the ones He loves is painful to read and yet it can be a comfort to those that experience people in their life that don't want to gather with them to know that God knows their pain too and has experienced it too.
