Great many people only believe in God but a select few actually know without a doubt. Do you just believe or know for sure and why? I know for a fact he is real and living because he has done more than just speak to me.

If we do what the Bible says to do we will get the results the Bible says we will get. God has all of the answers and all of the solutions. We will never have a question God can not answer. We will never have a problem that God does not have a solution for. God wants to shelter and protect us.

"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing." (Matthew 23:37)

"Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." (Malaci 3:10b)

Interesting question, and one which prompts one to delve into and examine if they "know" God or not, through his only begotten Son, our Savior.

It blessed me.

Thank you, and God bless you.

(My answer is, yes, i "know" this God Who rejoices over us with singing. And now that i meditate on this, what comes to mind, is that when God "sings", He IS rejoicing. And the rejoicing is quite possibly because He is rejoicing that we are safe and sound from the jaws of eternal destruction. Isn't He a delightful God?)

Have you ever spoken to God face to face rather than just prayer?
........i've never "seen" His face, but i HAVE chuckled with Him over my needless "running around like a chicken with its head cut off", at times.

Only Moses spoke to God face to face. We do not actually speak to God. The angels collect our prayers and place them in the golden bowels before the throne.

Revelation 8:3
"Then another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne."

God spoke to me in a dream once when I was around 8 years old. He was explaining to me the expanding and shrinking (contracting) universe. I was not on the earth at the time, I was out in the universe. Usually when He has a message for us He will send an angel. Many times He wanted me to know that He is a God of absolute and perfect Justice. We see this in the universe in how fine tuned and balanced all the laws are that regulate the universe. There is a lot of precision. I have a friend that is a machinist and he works within a tolerance of a millionth. He runs a 3 million dollar machine and they have three robots hooked up to his machine. Business is great and they are talking about setting up more of these machines and training more people to run them. So if man can produce that degree of accuracy, how much more is God able to be accurate and precise in all that HE does?

I was seeking God and He introduced me to Jesus. Jesus showed me the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit showed me the way back to Jesus and Jesus showed me the way to the father. In Genesis 1:26 we read: "Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness". Us means Father, Son & Holy Spirit. All three make us. We are a trinity also: body, soul & spirit.

The throne room is in Heaven. We have to be Holy and Sanctified. We have to be washed and cleansed in the Blood of Jesus. Even once I got my family in Heaven to intercede for me. They know God and they know how to pray to get results because they always pray according to the will of God.

Yet, it is written that we, here, can go boldly into His throne room, brother.

And then there's that curtain that done got ripped top to bottom. Ever read how humongous and heavy that curtain was?

The difference between "know" and "believe" is where the assurance is taking place.
You can be mentally convinced of a thing, and therefore "know" that it is true in your mind.
You can spiritually "believe" a thing in your heart and that only by revelation.

Since God is only pleased by faith, then I find believing is better than knowing.

Absolutely God is real. I know Lord Jesus. He is my Life. Without Him, I fall apart. In Him, nothing is impossible. How do I know? I knew God had to be real even as a child, in spite of my atheist dad. All we see had to come from somewhere. But I did not know God. Like Adam, I did my best to hide. He found me anyway, and I'm so glad He did. Now I see God with spiritual eyes. All who are born again have this eyesight.

What came to mind for me is "knowing" as in when Jesus said "Depart from me. I never "knew" you."

The other verse about having no "doubts" and believing as a little child also comes to mind.

(Interesting post, Saved....now i gotta munch on it for a while....thanks)
