I start stage two of my chemo this morning. My wife and I are getting ready to go right now. I expect to get many answers this week from lab work and various imaging. Yes, I do take home a new "Ralph" today. I'll give you a better update later. May God richly bless you.

I'm requesting special prayers. I've fallen three times this week, and one required a trip to the ER. God was good to me and there was no damage done except a cut needing 3 staples. my wife is helping me a lot on things that could lead to a fall. Thank you Lord for a loving wife.

I want you to know that I'm praying for all of you every day. Thank you sincerely for all of your prayers.

So sorry to hear about the falls, I can't let my husband out on his own, I just kept him upright yesterday.
He goes in hospital on Tuesday for a stoma bag and then we should hear when he starts chemo.
I pray to the Father and thank him that your wife is there for you, and I am here for Peter.
:) God bless us all

I'm so sorry for the falls! I've fallen several times. I never broke anything or required stitches, but end up with bruises. One time I tripped over a rock and ended up with a black eye. I want to get rid of my swivel rocker; when I grab it, it moves and doesn't keep me from falling! I'm glad you have your wife's help. I will pray!

Someone told me that ginger helps with nausea so I looked that up.

"Ginger is often marketed as a natural way to reduce nausea or calm an upset stomach. In fact, its ability to alleviate nausea and vomiting is its best-supported use ( 2 ). Some studies have found that the spice may be as effective as some anti-nausea medications with fewer side effects ( 3 , 4 )."

Thank you for prayers. And bless you and your family always! :praying:

Praying in agreement with everyone for you, Tom. I do hope you are ok from the falls and that you have had no further incidents like that. Nearly the end of the week now and I pray that your body is holding up well with the Lord's help as you continue your treatment. God bless you and yours, Tom, with His peace, His joy, His strength.

I'm glad you have never broken anything, Phoebe Ann. I hope you will be able to replace the swivel rocker as soon as possible. I can just picture it moving whenever you grab it. Certainly sounds dangerous. I will pray that the Lord will bless you with a sturdy new chair.

We found a group in a local town run by volunteers, called Cancer Warriors. Run by a fellow who has had cancer 3 times. He was so good and chatted to us, explaining lots of interesting points we didn't know about. It was good to hear from someone who has been on the receiving end. So helpful.
