Iowa lawn display of Democratic snowmen being shot causes controversy

Considering what Bernie's staffers want to do to anybody to his right, eh, it's hard to feel too badly about this.

Considering the Project Veritas exposes coming out of Bernie's campaign, I can't imagine where you got that idea.

The fake outrage from the Left is getting old. Who wants to live in a country where you can’t make winter murals of killing your political opponents out of snowmen?

I think he's talking about the Bernie staffers who advocate rounding up conservatives and shipping them to "re-education camps" and gulags like Stalin did.

But hey, some guy who has a snowman display is pretty bad too.

I’ve come to find that organizations with the word “truth” or something to that effect in the name of the organization are usually presenting anything but the truth.

He’s like all the people who want to see gay people be made second class citizens or worse yet have all these gay friends. They think they are their friends but in reality they have acquaintances they call friends. If you find the idea of someone being shot/imprisoned funny or find their nature revolting you are not their friend.

For me, the part where anyone would seriously think it justifies a display depicting the murder of people who have differing political views.

Not to mention all of the issues PV has had with truthful reporting in the past.

But that’s not really the issue though, is it? You questioned the reliability of PV’s journalism... even though the Bernie staffer videos clearly show the staffer making some pretty extreme statements. How that does or doesn’t relate to Bernie is beside the point. The point is that those statements were made by a Bernie campaign staffer. PV reported the event(s) accurately.

The video doesn't clearly show anything and you have no idea whether or not PV reported things accurately. The video is edited out the wazoo - practically every sentence or half-sentence exists absent any other context. Sure, he could be saying bad stuff; but he could be joking or saying completely benign stuff, too. Every time the screen flashes white or cuts to a graphic is another edit in the audio. Nothing you hear is contiguous. It's all a construct.

And every time they come out with another video, they dupe more people who have no idea how editing works and I feel compelled to run around and explain to everybody what they're doing. James O'Keefe and PV are a bunch of proven liars and they're playing you all for fools.

(and so far, I've only seen the 2 minute trailer - the full version isn't on their website)

They tend to drip, drip, drip their videos out. I'm sure there will be more. They are rather shady.

There are insane people everyone even if this is in context. I'm no Bernie supporter, but I doubt very much he would not condemn this type of thing.

I mean there was a nut that I read about today that killed his childhood friend that drove him to work each day with trowel. WHen co-workers came to help once they heard him screaming for help? They call them terrorists. They were fighting about politics. The dead one was a Trump supporter, and the live one wasn't.

In our political atmosphere? The media and politicians almost encourage nuts like this to come out into the open, and they will too. Meanwhile, the so-called sane people point fingers and claim its the opposite side's fault, etc. It's sad really.

I found the display disgusting, and the home owners comments as well.
