You are on the right track - Jesus can pick you up...

Soak in the Word. Jesus will not let you down - seek Him with all your heart.

Get into fellowship with Christians who can help you on the way.

Jesus said that those who are forgiven much will Love Much.

With Him in your life you have much to give.

i'll need a sponsor for that am not even started to work the steps yet
thank you both of replying

Get a sponsor as soon as you can, preferably a Christian. The 12 steps are all based on Christian principals. One day at a time...

You are on the right path to being born again, a second time spiritually (read the gospel of John chapter 3 & I Peter 1). One reads & learns but there comes a point where you make that commitment like the 3rd Step says: "Made a decision to turn our will & our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him."

Jesus is waiting; the Savior of the world has been waiting for you to decide to trust Him to save you, to forgive you of your sins & for you to follow Him daily. That day of salvation is coming soon. We who read this will all be praying for you.

Remember, you can only live ONE DAY AT A TIME. Don't get overwhelmed with all that you feel & think you should be doing & dealing with. You will, like all of us, get easily overwhelmed.

LEARN TO LIVE ONE DAY AT A TIME.

Have you gotten to Jesus' promise yet in Matthew 11:25-30? It is one of my favorite passages that bring me great comfort & peace when I practice it, as I learn from Jesus-- going at His pace for me & developing that wonderful fellowship with Him, the living Lord, who gives LIFE.

Go ahead & peek at it, if you haven't gotten there yet! Memorize it even & meditate on it. Drink deeply of the well springs of life that come from the living God!

i have loads of doubt, finding hard to even believe in something ,

This is relatively easy:

James 2:8
If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.

Mark 12:31
The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Romans 15:2
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.

Galatians 5:14
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Proverbs 3:29
Do not plan evil against your neighbor, who dwells trustingly beside you.

Matthew 7:12
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

You do not change your life, you go to God as you are. The time is now to receive Eternal Life, again there is no better time as the present to receive Eternal Life.

Believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah from the Tanakh and trust in The Messiah for His free gift of His Eternal Life.

Simply put Believe in Jesus for Eternal Life. If you do you are immediately born again and become a child of God. Never to lose your Eternal Life gift from God.

Lily, this is excellent advice and I encourage you also to read John 3:16.
Don't get overwhelmed, firstly allow God to work in your life and help you and I'm sure He will open ways for you to help others.

All of us need to this ourselves and as said previously, we pray for you also.

God bless you dear one.

Upon reading your post, I am of the opinion that your doubts are basically emotional. You feel doubtful. This is not the doubt that indicates a lack of faith and trust in Christ. Human emotions are very changeable, and we cannot trust them. You have heard of the expression, "Courage is not the absence of fear." Many heroic acts have been performed by people who felt real fear but went ahead anyway because they believed that what they were doing was right. There is a book called, "Feel the Fear, and Do it Anyway."

True Biblical faith is seeing a promise in God's Word and deciding to believe it regardless of whether you feel you can believe it or not. Faith is an act of the will and is not dependent on emotion. You can have a head totally full of doubts, and yet you can say quite definitely that you believe the promise because you decide to believe it and then act on it.

For example, the Scripture says, "By grace you are saved through faith and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any should boast in them." But I might feel that I have failed God so many times that I don't feel saved, and I don't sense the presence of God; therefore I'm tempted to think I am not saved after all. But I say to myself, "Wait! God has promised salvation for me on the basis of my faith in Christ alone. Therefore, in spite of how I feel, I decide to believe that promise and believe that I am saved through God's gift of salvation to me, and it has nothing to do with the good or bad things I have done or will do. My salvation is through God's mercy and grace alone, through what Jesus did for me on the cross." Upon saying that to myself and to the Lord, I carry on walking in the Spirit because I know I am saved through God's promise to me. Then the assurance comes over and above my emotions.

Psa 37:3-4 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

You might be surprised at how far God can take your life. When we have an interest in God, when we involve Him in our life, he heals us over time, and we find our selves in the places that "we" actually desire to be. He gives us our desires.

@Lily76_ It's a really good way to see the different angles on things by reading of often the same events from different perspectives. Some Gospel harmony lists have been produced, showing which events and parables are mentioned in which Gospels.

The Bible shares Doubting Thomas with us just for people like us who just can’t seem to grab hold and shake the doubt off. Thomas had to put his hand in the side of Jesus before he could shake the doubt. Fot us this means we have to experience Jesus. We have to have God to make it real to us. We have to put our lives into the life of Jesus. My prayer has been “Father, help my unbelief.” And He has answered that. I am praying for the right mentor for you and for you as you begin the steps. You are on the right track. Hold fast to that which is good. God has a plan for you and He is watching over you. Here is a vitual hug, God be with you as you travel this road and the roads ahead. Blessings my precious one. Remember your confidence is not in yourself it is in God and He is able.
